Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Waynesburg

We were disappointed in the fact that our toilet did not work and they knew about the issue prior to giving us the room. They half-ass fixed it instead of properly fixing it and made us use the employee bathroom in the hall for the first night. Inconvenience! Then while we were there supposedly a couple had to call the cops because jewelry was stolen from their room! Hope that’s not true but…

Comfy beds, a bright room, and a yummy breakfast made this a great choice for an overnight stay on a long distance drive.

At check in, front desk staff was courteous, but at check out, staff were arguing with one another, until one went out and smoked a cigarette right outside the front door.

Breakfast was good both mornings. I do have suggestion. Maybe consider putting higher toilets in a section of your hotels and modify the bathrooms more to accommodate senior citizens. My 89 year old mother had great difficulty getting off the toilet because it was low and the wall grab bar by the shower was to far away to be of any assistance and specifically offer rooms for seniors that have been modified to support their needs.

We did an overnight. Easy to get to, park, check-in. Clean and quiet. The staff was kind. Lots of breakfast choices, including eggs. I would definitely stay again.

This was our third stay. After the first we had determined we would only stay there when in the area. The cleanliness, friendliness and especially the breakfast were outstanding. We will of course go back.

Parking was good. Check in was easy. Breakfast was average. Chain restaurants in the area. Right off of 79 so easy on and off for travel
