My stay here was serene & relaxing. The views are completely unmatched. The rooms are so well done, with amazing attention to detail. Staff are very kind as well.

Beautiful location, extremely picturesque, tranquil, calm and quiet. The rooms are lovely with spacious bathrooms and easy to operate showers! Great value for money in Franschhoek which can be expensive and in the centre is crowded too. This is our fifth visit and we recommend to many others !

My wife and I recently stayed at Auberge Clermont for our honeymoon, and we could not have asked for a more perfect experience. Picturesque & Convenient Location The property is set in an incredibly beautiful, picturesque location surrounded by the natural charm of the winelands. Despite feeling like a tranquil and secluded getaway, it is actually fairly close to the main street of Franschhoek. It was wonderfully convenient to be just a short distance from all the amazing local shops and restaurants. Stunning Accommodations Our room was absolutely stunning. The decor was elegant, comfortable, and beautifully put together, providing the exact romantic atmosphere we were hoping for on our honeymoon. It was truly a joy to come back to after a day of exploring. Exceptional Service & Dining The absolute highlight of Auberge Clermont is the people. The staff are super friendly and genuinely went above and beyond in every way to make our stay feel incredibly special and personalized. To top it all off, the breakfasts served each morning were excellent—fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to our days. If you are looking for a romantic getaway or a beautiful home base in Franschhoek, we cannot recommend Auberge Clermont highly enough! We will definitely be back.

It is am amaizing place to stay and relax. Beautiful room, well equipped. The views from room, from the pool, from all the place actually, are amaizing. No noise at all, super clean. Service during breakfasts was amaizing. Location is very near the Main Street but enough away to be apart and in peace. Totally recommended!

We visited at the end of January 2026 as part of our honeymoon and had a fabulous stay. The property itself is beautiful and is situated so you can appreciate the surround vineyards and mountains. It was a mini oasis of beauty. Albeit, owing to local wild fires our view was a little smokey! The honeymoon suite had everything we could want and need, the pool and loungers were great too. Our only issue we experienced was with a power supply issue that seemed to be isolated to the hotel. Something seemed to trip the electrics for the whole property and the backup generators didn’t kick in. This led to a couple of nights with no fan or AC, which made things a little u comfortable. The property was about a 25 minute walk away from town, or a 5 minute taxi ride. Be sure to book Ubers in advance though as the limited local supply can lead to issues if you don’t. We would thoroughly recommend and would come back in a heartbeat. A must visit.

10/10 fantastic experience with helpful, friendly and thoughtful staff that even prepared a room for me for an interview ahead of check-in and beautiful grounds, well equipped rooms and lovely breakfast. Would recommend as a peaceful stay for anyone

Located about 15 minutes stroll from Franschhoek main street, advise a taxi or tuk tuk in dark. Beautiful vineyard with spectacular views. Patio areas, swimming pool, lounge area. Well appointed rooms with every mod con including AC. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast amazing. Two of the bedrooms are accessed by outdoor wooden stairs so bear in mind and, if needed, request a ground floor room. We have stayed here many times and look forward to the next visit. Thanks everyone for a wonderful stay.

Our second visit to this beautiful retreat. The staff made our visit really comfortable and the location was stunning. We will definitely visit again when we are next in the area.

A WOW for us, fantastic accommodation, beautiful room, fabulous staff and the most amazing location. We have just finished our stay and I would like to thank our host and all of the staff for making our stay truly memorable for us. Wonderful bed and breakfast - excellent value. The surroundings are wonderful and it's nice to be able to explore the farm and gardens. The mountains are gorgeous! The pool was refreshing. Breakfast was delicious with wide variety of high quality breads, cheese, jam and your choice of entree. Rooms were spacious and well kept. Nothing I would change - would love to stay again. Book if you're lucky to find availability! We stayed without a car and walk to town was fine (if a bit hot in the sun) and Uber was readily available throughout the stay.

Quite simply fantastic. Me and my wife visited for our honeymoon from the U.K. We booked the villa way in advance. The villa was stunning with a private pool with breathtaking views of the vineyard and mountains. The villa is fully furnished with all of your needs. Good size bedrooms, large living space and large kitchen. Very spacious terrace outside leading to the pool. Very kind staff and helped with any needs. Walking distance to the main road with all the restaurants and shops. Breakfast was great and managed to cater for us as the villa is self catering. Highly recommend Auberge clermont a must book when visiting Franschhoek.

We really loved our two night stay at Auberge Clemont. It felt like a really high end experience for a modest price. The staff and their attention to detail was first rate and the breakfast was wonderful. The room and the grounds were luxurious and relaxing and it was a fine end to our 3 week trip to South Africa.

I recently stayed in the villa with my husband, our 2 young children and my in-laws. We had a wonderful time! Location was perfect, amenities were great and the staff were lovely. We would definitely stay again!

First step in South Africa for our family flying from France. A peaceful environnement, huge and confortable rooms, lovely breakfast, nice people. A nice starting point to discover the area.
