Stayed at Cornerhouse for 2 nights. Excellent accommodation. Our room pristine and the bathroom huge with walk in shower and separate bath. Breakfast was good fresh with great food options. Off road secure gated parking was an added bonus. Location is perfect, just 5 minutes walk to the main street, with shops and restaurants. Really enjoyed it and would return if in the area again

The service was 2nd to none, absolutely brilliant (especially Preston). It is in a good location (close to the Main Street but in a quiet road). Unfortunately our room had two others adjoining to the rear and both sides weren’t very quiet and we could hear every word until they decided to switch off for the night. I also thought that it was a little petty that you are allowed one hot drink with breakfast having to pay for any additional ones. When we arrived we were asked if we would like a coffee whilst we checked in, which we did, they were on our bill.

I don’t know how many times I have stayed at Corner House but it never fails. In fact, it seems to get better and better. Pet-friendly too, and my pooch and I are always made to feel more than welcome.

Very disappointing stay. Not very accommodating and just want to take your money without providing any level of service. Did not care about the comfort of the guests.

The corner house is a beautiful guest house in an ideal location- easily walkable to the heart of Franschoek in just a few minutes. We stayed in the 2 bedroom annex with our daughters and all found it to be very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We wish we had stayed longer!

Beautiful hotel, peaceful location but handy for town. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, Preston was particularly helpful and charming

The staff were so friendly. The room was quiet and had all the creature comforts you could think of. Not to mention the breakfast , which was simply amazing !!

The apartment was perfectly clean and very well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful allowing us check-in early as it was available. We would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Corner House. We were in Franschhoek for a wedding and it was the perfect place for us. It’s an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were kind and helpful. It was a great place to return to after all the wedding events!

An absolute gem. Nestled 2 blocks off the main road, in a lovely private setting. Clean, well maintained, exceptional staff and service. Wonderful breakfast. We will absolutely return again!

Lovely B&B with great breakfast, great location!

We were very disappointed upon arriving at the Corner House Residence. While the house itself has potential, it is in need of maintenance throughout. The view from our room was underwhelming, overlooking a roof covered with solar panels. My aunt’s room was acceptable but not particularly clean, while ours was quite run-down and also not properly cleaned. I raised these concerns with the staff, requesting an additional vacuum and a more thorough cleaning, particularly for a wet area. While the water was wiped away, the spot behind the door—which I had specifically pointed out—was still left untouched. The bathroom grout is in desperate need of cleaning, and there are large cracks behind the door that have been completely neglected. Despite the condition of the rooms, the owner refused to provide a full refund, leaving us with little choice but to stay. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend this place.

We stayed at this wonderful guesthouse in Franchoek for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable, the service and guest care more than excellent. The breakfast was a dream, we didn't have a better one on our trip to South Africa. The location is also perfect as you can walk into town and find a good selection of great restaurants. So all perfect!

A great place to stay! Centrally located, next to the centre and the Hugenot museum, and even to some of the wineries (Le Lude). Spacious rooms, in particular the bathroom. Nice little garden with a small lovely pool. Friendly staff and very good value.
