Terrific older motel located right at the beginning of the main downtown strip. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. They keep coffee and snacks in the main check-in area 24/7. Breakfast was better than most hotel chain breakfasts with several hot items, coffee, and fresh fruit (blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, grapes). They let us into our rooms 2 hours early (happened to be ready) and I think check-out time is noon, making them more generous than most.

Small town Texas hospitality at it's best, very clean and large room right at historic downtown, the staff was everything you want to have in a stay, going back in two weeks the stay again it was so nice.

Everyone was very cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. We were disappointed that our room was on the second floor, accessible only by outside stairs. As we are in our 80's, it was not easy to get our luggage up to the room.
