WOW----JUST WOW! If you like log cabins in the country---this is the place you'll want to go. Many of the cabins have been brought here from Switzerland and reassembled. The original cabin on the property is a 1870's cabin brought in from Kentucky. There are trees and beautiful foliage everywhere, plus deer roaming and geese. There's a creek that runs through the property - and the cabin....well, it was fantastic. Truly a place to relax and have a romantic getaway! It is fully stocked with everything you need - they didn't miss a trick!. We were celebrating our 10th anniversary and it was a little slice of heaven!.

We had a wonderful stay at Baron's Creek Side. The cabin was cozy, peaceful, and offered a beautiful view of the creek that made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Every detail of the cabin felt thoughtfully planned—from the layout to the amenities—which made our stay comfortable and effortless. What truly stood out was the staff. We were greeted with genuine kindness and felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Everyone was incredibly accommodating and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, well-appointed cabin with exceptional hospitality.

We have stayed here several times, it is outstanding. Good location, easy to get to town. Accommodations have always been outstanding, facilities are high quality and well supplied. The on site Club has good food and live entertainment on the Friday and Saturday night, check website.

What a beautiful place. I highly recommend staying here. The people are very helpful. It was our anniversary and enjoyed the weekend immensely. Great job!!!

We visit wonderful, peaceful Barons Creekside every second month. The surroundings are serene and quiet. The Club cozy with delicious food and the owners and personnel are so friendly and helpful. We will keep coming back every second months.

My husband and I loved everything about Baron’s Creekside ! We had a hard time deciding which cabin to choose because they all looked amazing. We ended up choosing the Zug cabin and loved everything about it ! We rested so well, enjoyed an early fire, and dined at The Club one evening and enjoyed the live music. Daniel and his nephew, Simon were very helpful too. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here, we definitely want to come back!

This is the cutest place to stay! Our family stayed in the Victorian home but the whole property is adorable. I sat on the porch swing with my coffee and book all morning while our boys happily fished in the creek all day long. When booking, Lasca was so kind and accommodating and even had a bottle of wine of my choice waiting for me. It’s a great location too, just a short drive from Main Street Fredericksburg. Thanks for a great stay! We will be back!

Wonderful & relaxing stay at Baron Creekside. Dinner, music, accommodations and the atmosphere = perfection!

I brought my girlfriend here to the Zerrmatt cabin. It is cleverly decorated and very comfortable. The bed is fantastic. Everything in the cabin is in good working order, and very clean. Rocking chairs on the porch looking at the creek with ducks. This is my 4th time to stay here.

I booked The Lodge and friends and family booked some of the other cabins for a long weekend in Fredericksburg for a milestone birthday. I had people coming from all over the country (including myself!) and had never set foot on the property before. I chose them based on gut instinct, photographs, descriptions, reviews, and videos. I liked that they had the 360 video of The Lodge on the website, which really helped me envision what we could utilize the space for. I’m so glad I chose this place. The Lodge was much nicer in person than in my imagination, even w the videos. The bed was comfortable. The AC worked great (important in central Texas!). The kitchen was almost over stocked w plates, etc. the dishwasher worked great and the sink was perfect. The grounds were lovely, Daniel was kind, and the lodging was all so adorable. My parents’ little cabin had a heart-shaped window (among other things). We sat in the living room, stood in the kitchen, ate at the picnic tables on the back porch, and just had a wonderful time. They’re spaced far enough apart that I don’t think our neighbors heard us. (Well, the wagon was occupied by our own folks, so if anyone could have heard us, it was there.). The kitties were soft and friendly, the club was accommodating for my large group for dinner, and it was just perfect for people to meet together in The Lodge. It was close enough to town that our carpools were easy, and the same w the vineyards we visited. Everyone loved it so much, that we are talking about going back! I highly recommend it.

Top notch ! The Cabin, community, staff and Club were amazing and it was the PERFECT get away for our anniversary! We have come here twice and will continue to . Look forward to our future return!

My wife and I have been going to Baron’s Creekside for almost twenty years, and it has always been a wonderful experience. Daniel is a fantastic host, and we’ve been so happy to also get to know Deborah. Baron’s is like being in the country, but still so close to downtown Fredericksburg. Because of the incoming weather, we missed being able to go to The Club on Friday night, but we won’t miss next time! Such a great venue!

Fantastic service during the bad weather. Dinner offered to be brought to the cabin. We can highly recommend Barons Creekside. We should know - we come here about every second month.

Daniel & Deborah are great hosts. The Club has great food and live entertainment. The cabins are perfect for a great get away . We love this place and will continue to visit regularly..
