This cozy retreat is perched on the rim of the Royal Gorge, overlooking America's highest suspension bridge. Watch the sunset over the Sangre de Cristo mountains from this 1,500 square foot house positioned high above the Arkansas River. Your group or family can spread out in the three bedrooms, two baths, and enjoy the large fireplace, panoramic views, open dining area, and secluded outdoor patio. A full kitchen is at your disposal with included spices, coffee, tea and sugar. A propane BBQ grill is available right outside the kitchen door. Guest access The lodge is located outside of the Bridge attraction so guests are free to come and go as they please. Check-in is inside the Visitor Center. Guests receive free admission to the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park during their stay. After hours check-in is at the Ranger post at the North end of the Visitor Center. Extensive hiking and biking trails are a short walk from the house. There is ample parking. Dogs are welcome. Pet fee applies if you have more than 2. Do not leave dogs unattended inside or outside the house. Be aware that the area has cactus! Please pick up and dispose of waste. Wifi is available, however this is a remote location and some US carriers do not have sufficient coverage is this area. AT&T and Verizon work best here.
