Kawaguchiko Hotel

If you expected to see mt Fuji as view then this is wrong hotel to stay. U only see the other side if kawaguchiko lake not the mt Fuji at all. I am abit regret because I would like the lake with mountain. Pro - if u like vintage tatami style and old wooden feel - if u like to see only lake and quiet side Con - unable see mt Fuji from the hotel - very old wooden resort and heavy wood smell - very old hotel without nice view only the boring lake

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient, close to Kawaguchiko Station. If you don’t have heavy luggage, you can easily walk from the station, or take a local bus that stops near the hotel. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service during certain check-in and check-out hours. The hotel has beautiful views of the lake, and from some rooms you can also see Mt. Fuji. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side during our stay, so we didn’t get to enjoy the Fuji view. There is also an onsen and sauna, which was a lovely addition. Breakfast was excellent and served in a traditional Japanese kaiseki style, which made the experience even more special. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The hotel feels a little dated in some areas, but this didn’t really affect our experience. The location, views, facilities and breakfast more than made up for it. Definitely recommended!

We stay in the cottage room type so we have the whole house to ourselves 😄. Over all it was so great staying here. The cottage basically have: 1. 3 bed room with twin bed 2. Living room 3. Kitchen 4. Japanese style living room 5. Back yard 6. 1 shower room 7. 2 toilet On top of that the hotel has a great observatory deck you can visit and see Mount Fuji clearly The highlights of my stay here is probably the Onsen (Hot Springs). I try that and it was amazing, its clean and you can enjoy the onsen and seeing mount fuji in front of you (cant take pictures cause the hotel forbid to take picture in the onsen area)

Amazing stay with a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere near Mt. Fuji The hotel was very clean, stylish, and relaxing, and the staff was kind and welcoming. I especially enjoyed the onsen. Would love to come back again 🙂
