We used 18 adults and children to participate in the tournament held in Shizuoka on January 4 and 5. Because it is still new, the whole hotel was very beautiful and everyone was satisfied. The parking lot was parked at the adjacent coin parking (with discount). We had a welcome drink (18:00 ～ 1 person 1 cup free) (^^) dinner was served at a restaurant called ”sakura” ｻﾝ (I made a reservation in advance) about 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The tavern and convenience store were about 3 minutes walk, and the location was very good! In total, the cospa is the best without complaint !! I would like to use it when I go to Shizuoka again. Thank you (ᵕᴗᵕ)

This hotel was steps away from train station with a view of Mt Fuji in backround. The staff was very nice & helpful and the included breakfast had something for everyone. There is a park a few blocks away with breathtaking views of Fuji and many shrines to enjoy. We were across the street from the train, buses, taxis and there was a car rental/gas station right behind the hotel so we had no problem with transportation.

At very short notice, we were unable to visit this hotel due to a family issue. The hotel cancelled our booking without penalty even though they were completely within their rights to charge us a cancellation fee. Thank you very much for being so customer friendly. We look forward to our next “proper” visit. Thank you!

Although i only lived for two days, the time is short and it is a very good experience in Fujinomiya!!!! The equipment and customer service are perfect there. And the location is very near Fujinomiya station which is very convenient. So next time if i come to Fujinomiya again, I will definitely live in again. We would have left a much better review, had we not been fleeced by the hotel in regards to parking. This is a good, basic hotel if you just need somewhere to sleep & bathe. It is newer and clean, and the rooms have all the necessary amenities despite their small size. There is a coin-operated laundry available (200yen for washers, 30yen for soap... dryers were always full, so we hung out clothes to dry in the bathroom). Breakfast is very basic... miso soup, rice, salad. It is next door to the station if you are traveling by shinkansen. We were charged for parking for our entire stay despite never using the lot. On the first day, we told them we would not be using the hotel lot as it was farther than we were told and there were safer and closer lots nearby for the same price (500yen/24hrs). The hotel refused to refund us the money they charged us for the parking we never used and did not want. We did speak with a supervisor and got nowhere. Based on this lack of customer service and fraudulent charging, we would not recommend others stay here. I have noticed this issue in other reviews as well.

I stayed here with my 16 year old son. We were looking for something very authentic Japanese. Kakurinbo was perfect. We stayed two days after arriving in Japan and it was a great peaceful quiet way to recover from jet lag. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms very clean and spacious. We had the garden view and enjoyed green tea each morning while watching the giant koi fish in the pond. The food was Delicious and artful in presentation. Even my 16 year old son who lives in frozen pizza and ice cream was happy with the food. The wine bath was a special treat and relaxing to soak each evening with a window to view the garden. Even the map they gave us on arrival was awesome not was very detailed and had so Lucy information that was useful as well as interesting. I was sad that the first day I lost mine but the gave me another. We went each morning to the temple service and I recommend to go. During the service a monk shows the incense bowls and invites people up to burn incense. The “map” explains how to do it and watch someone go up then don’t be shy and do it. Also don’t forget to do the water purifying outside. Again, the “map” explains. We also took the ropeway to the top and we’re blessed with a view of Mt.Fuji. Thank you for a memorable time my son and I will always cherish.

It's a little from the center of Fuji City, but it's convenient to use by car. There is also a free parking lot, and it's nice to see Mt. Fuji well. There is no convenience store nearby to walk, but there is one if it is a fast food shop. The hotel facilities are new and clean. The lobby feels wider than it looks. The room is large enough for one person. The writing desk is large and is perfect for business. From the room, you can see the vicinity of Mt. Fuji, but to see the whole, you can see the emergency exit of the bridge in the passage. The bathtub is deep and the hot water temperature is easy to adjust. I'm glad there is a large bath. Breakfast is buffet style. The type of menu is just about this if it is breakfast. There is a healthy menu. Cospa is a high hotel. It is a good hotel for sightseeing Mt. Fuji.

The hotel is clean, cheap and if you have a room facing Mt. Fuji you will have a full view of the mountain. The problem is the staff... The cleaning staff was impolite when asking us to leave the restaurant when finishing of the breakfast. Once I was told to leave at 09:00 and then they pointed to a placard written 08:45. I was with my meal in the plate but I has to leave without finishing it (I arrived at 08:20). I'm ok to leave if the time is over but why telling only to me and my wife if there were more people in the restaurant? Why Japanese can stay and foreign are asked to leave? I honestly did not understand why the two ladies went only to my table (in a sequence) to shout to us if there were a Japanese family (4 people), 1 single Japanese, 1 Polish couple and us in the restaurant? Why speak at loud voice to me that breakfast was over demanding to go, if there was more people there?

Hotel is quite near from JR station and bus station. Chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced and has room for three persons,plus location. Hotel quite rundown and smells. Only consolation was that the room for three persons with Japanese style futon bed was big and brightly lit. Aeon mall nearby

Great! JR came out very close and turned around Japanese-style room, you can see Mount Fuji on the balcony, but there is no snow this season, not amazing The owner is super nice. We bought food in the supermarket and prepared it to be heated in a microwave oven. He said nothing and quickly prepared two dishes and one soup, which were delicious. Can communicate in English If you have the opportunity to visit Fujinomiya again, be sure to stay again!
