good hostel

Good location and the rooftop so beautiful view

Very clean and nice hostel we took one room which had four beds. Check in is done entirely online and the hostel provides all info that you need to check in so there is no physical interaction when you reach the hostel. The best thing about the hotel is the view of Mount Fuji from the rooftop Terrace. It looks like it is the only rooftop terrace in the area so you get a unique vantage point. The hostel is a quick walk from Mount Fuji station. Very happy with our stay.

Chinese tourists, beware of this place! I was cheated because I didn't read other people's ratings! The room was so dirty that it looked like nothing had been done. They only changed the quilt cover and put a few disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste... This is an open roadside dormitory building. There is no staff on site. If you have any questions, you can't find anyone. There is a bar downstairs, and the road is outside the window. Some people who drink and walk their dogs gather inside and laugh loudly. The door is a sliding door with a password lock, which is not soundproof at all. The door lock is a hook type, which can be broken with a little force. All rooms share a bathroom! The female toilet is on the second floor, but the bathroom is on the first floor. It is extremely inconvenient and unhygienic! It is dark and dirty inside.

Trapped in Mount Fuji due to heavy snow, I stayed temporarily for one night. The heater was good, but check-in was too troublesome. There was no on-site staff, so I had to rely on emails.

The moment I arrived at the B&B, I realized that there was no staff at all. It was only five o’clock in the afternoon. I took two elderly people and children with me, and it took me nearly two hours to get it right. I didn’t receive any reminders from the B&B host and trip before I checked in. I needed to submit a passport and other information in advance to receive the room number and password. There was no contact information on WeChat or whatsapp and line. It was a very poor experience at a B&B! The owner of the homestay is very poor in providing after-sales service. I sincerely suggest that everyone do not rent it!
