The hotel is located in a picturesque spot, opposite a stunningly beautiful beach with sea views. The swimming season runs from mid-July to the end of August. Despite the warm weather (it was around 30 degrees Celsius in October), swimming is prohibited due to the presence of life-threatening jellyfish in the waters. All beach amenities (changing rooms, showers, lifeguard service) close at the end of August. Nevertheless, it was pleasant to simply walk barefoot along the perfect sandy shore. At first glance, the hotel looks a bit old-fashioned, but inside, everything is perfectly organized and very cozy! The rooms are quite comfortable and large. They are decorated in Japanese style (photons and low tables), but we stayed in rooms with a European decor, with familiar beds and armchairs. All rooms have stunning sea views. The rooms have only a toilet and a sink. Showers and baths are not provided due to the large onsen on site. It is very spacious and comfortable, with large mineral pools both indoors and outdoors, showers with all the necessary toiletries, yukatas, slippers, etc. Despite the hotel being fully occupied, no one disturbed anyone else, and the room was spacious. I would also like to thank the staff: they were professional, responsive, and very polite. The organization and coordination of their work is simply impeccable and is one of the best examples of ideal Japanese service! Thank you for your hard work! There are always English-speaking staff at reception. Meals include breakfast and dinner: the choice is huge, featuring Japanese and European cuisine. Everything here will satisfy lovers of the freshest fish and premium seafood, seasonal fruits and vegetables, and if you visit in the spring, you will enjoy strawberries (there is a farm nearby). Alcohol is available for an additional fee. The hotel does not provide bicycle rentals. A free shuttle runs three times a day to the train station and ferry terminal. (You must reserve a seat on the shuttle to the hotel in advance; we did so through their Instagram page.) Nearby, to your right, there are lovely restaurants with sea views and a variety of cuisines if you feel like taking a stroll. It was a real treat to visit this wonderful place. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city :)
