Zonk Hotel Nakasu

overall good, spacious room, no one in the hotel to serve you, all by yourself, still good experience

So this place—I’m not even sure if it’s a hotel or more like a guesthouse. When we arrived and tried to check in, the process was super troublesome. It seems like it’s all self-service, and when it’s that automated, there’s basically no real support if you run into issues—especially if you’re a foreign visitor. After we finally checked in—because you can only check in at 4 p.m., which is pretty inconvenient—there are just a few lockers to store your luggage. You know, normally you’d expect to drop your bags around noon or so and then check in a bit earlier, like 1 or 2 p.m. But here, you’ve only got about 8 or 9 lockers, and if there are too many guests or you have big luggage, it’s really a hassle. We basically had to just wait around until 4 p.m., which was a huge waste of time. Then we finally got into the room, and wow, it was not romantic at all. It was really dim and gloomy, and you could literally see dust floating in the light coming in from outside. The water pressure in the shower was super weak, and the bed was way too soft. Honestly, whether this is a hotel or an Airbnb, they really need to upgrade something, because it was just a really bad experience. Thanks for letting me vent!

It's a disappointing experience in staying in the Zonk hotel. It's spacious with a simple open kitchen and even equipped with a massage chair. However, the massage chair is broken, the springs of the bed are also not working properly. The room is dusty especially the entrance of the room. Overall it is poorly maintained. The good thing is there is laundry and they provide free welcome drinks and extra towels and amenities.

Location is perfect for our itinerary. We were surprised and grateful with the complimentary drinks that we didn’t expect. Spacious accommodation that’s very rare in Japan.

Overall good but the heater is not really heat and the smell of the room a little bit weird. And they have kitchen that's really good

Very confortable, really surprised me, room is big and there were many services like free drinks and a massage sofa, would like to come back
