mizuka Daimyo 6 - unmanned hotel -

Out of all the apartments we have stayed in for the whole trip, This apartment is by far, the worst. It's a whole floor partitioned in 4-5 rooms for rental. - The corridor to the rooms wasn't well-mantain. The carpet was poorly lined, and it contains blue bags which I believed were bags of used linen and towels which was there from check in to check out. - There's a step down after opening the door from the corridor to the unit. The host could have pasted a warning sign. - Room was okay and decent, but we noticed that the cushion for the bench was not well maintained. The stains and smells were disgusting and we were put off by the sight of it. The unkept flooring doesn't help to improve our impression - location was decent, smack right in Tenjin with all the streetwear nearby, donki and pharmacies are also just 10 mins walk away. - Not for the value of money, anyone could have booked a better apartment in Fukuoka. I only booked it at the very last minute. To sum it up, we only required one night sleep and book this room last min, if I have more time, it won't be in my consideration

The hotel was irresponsible and security was lacking. Our room was next to the terrace garden, which should not have been accessible as a common area. As there was construction, the garden could not be used during our stay due to safety issues. However, the hotel did not ensure the access door to the garden was locked. On the first night, other guests entered the garden at midnight to chat and smoke until 4am. When we asked the hotel for help, they claimed not to have seen anyone. They also did not address why the door did not lock or put up notices stating the garden was a private area. We requested an investigation and for the door to be locked the next day, allowing staff into our room for this. However, the hotel made excuses to have us close it ourselves, which we felt was irresponsible. They also promised a response but despite checking multiple times during our stay, I received nothing by checkout a week later. Please ensure proper safety and security measures are in place, even if the hotel is unmanned. Guests should not feel unsafe in their rooms or common areas.
