The location is pretty good. It's a 6-7 minute walk to Canal City Hakata and an 8-minute walk to Daimaru Department Store. It's located between the Nanai Line subway stations, Tenjin Minami, and Rice Terrace Shrine, and is closer to Tenjin Minami. A taxi back to the hotel cost over 2300 yen. On the last day, a taxi to the airport took about 20 minutes and cost 2110 yen, as there was no traffic. On the first day, when finding the hotel, I used Gaode Maps, but the small road navigation was a bit winding. Actually, just walk to the canal bridge and follow the arrows. For self-check-in, you need to enter an order number provided by the hotel, have the hotel tax deducted from your credit card for the stay, have your passport's first page photographed, and then receive the room code. It only takes five or six minutes. The bed is quite large, and slippers, toothbrushes, and towels are provided, but climbing to the top bunk is a bit difficult, haha. The bathroom shower is small, like those on a cruise ship. The mattress is a bit firm, and the blanket felt a little damp, but luckily I brought my own sheet… The soundproofing isn't good; you can hear loud conversations from next door or downstairs. Oh, and I saw that the hotel provides disposable earplugs. The guests were quite well-behaved during my stay, and it wasn't too noisy. Overall, it was pretty good value for money, but it might not be ideal for people who have trouble sleeping, haha ​​😃
