HOTEL LiVEMAX Hakata Nakasu

The only saving grace is the location. Very near amenities, shopping arcade, eateries, subway stations and places of interest. However housekeeping is very much to be desired. Stayed for 4 nights and each day we requested room to be tidied. The bed was duly made up and toiletries were topped up. Other than that, one day there wasn't any rubbish bag in the bin, the bathroom sink wasn't cleaned as the morning toothpaste foam could still be seen in the evening when we got back. No toilet paper roll in the dispenser and the coffee cups were not washed with coffee stains still at the bottom of the cups. Staff weren't too friendly either but weren't rude as well.

The location is really good, which close to train stations and all convenience stores. However, the room and the hall had a weird smell, it even had a smoking smell as well; he room smell dirty and damp, I had to open the window though outside was hot to have some air circulated in the room. The towel gave a feeling of bleach used that caused the hands uneasy.

There was dried blood on the pillowcase. Not a stain - actual dried blood. That's all you need to know.
