The hotel’s location is absolutely fantastic. It is right in the heart of the Tenjin area with easy access to the underground shopping arcade and department stores. However, the stay itself was disappointing due to several issues.
Cleanliness was poorly managed. On two separate days, I hung out the sign requesting towel replacement before the designated time, but no one came to change them. The complimentary amenities were very basic, just a toothbrush, toothpaste, and cotton buds. No comb, no cotton pads, and no bottled water provided.
Soundproofing is another problem. Even on the 7th floor, I could clearly hear street noise (from cars and whistles) as well as conversations from the corridor.
The worst part was the shower. The showerhead emits a high-pitched, piercing noise when turned on, and it’s mounted too high and the water sprays down to the far end of the bathtub. This meant I had to hold it with one hand the entire time while showering, which was very inconvenient.
