Outstanding apartments in center of Funchal. Very luxurious feel and great apartment decor. Also a very lucky collaboration with the hotel reception, which helped us with our day to day questions and provided another place to relax in the city center. Will definitely be coming back again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Madeira Gems Apartments! The place is modern, super clean, and ideally located. It felt like a peaceful little oasis right in the middle of the city. I recently completed a one week stay at the Madeira Gems, Ametista Apartment. The Apartment are all part of the Hotel Madeira which provides all services and amenities to the Apartments. I was extremely pleased with all aspects of my stay will share the following highlights of my trip. The location is excellent adjacent to the Municipal Jardim Park in the heart of Funchal. The hotel is one block from Avenue Arriaga just a few blocks for the waterfront and Cathedral. The Hotel staff were extremely effective and efficient in all of our dealings. They were welcoming and friendly at all times and seemed eager to address all of our needs. The apartment was exceptional with a wide balcony overlooking the Jardim Park. It is fully equipped for an extended stay and all furnishings and utilities are as if brand new. It is tastefully decorated while the building itself retains many original features. The Hotel itself provides a restaurant, a rooftop pool with lounge and all services associated with a first-class establishment. I do not hesitate to strongly recommend Madeira, Funchal and the Hotel Madeira/Madeira Gems to all my fellow travelers.
