The Vine Hotel

Not a 5-star experience; too expensive for what was offered; dirty and stained bathrobes; poor and incomplete room cleaning (a dropped gummy bear lay on the floor next to the bed for days); the toilet generally and consistently smelled unpleasant; fresh towels were sometimes not provided during cleaning, despite requests; pool towels were not replaced and had to be collected from reception as no service was provided; no hanging space for clothes outside the wardrobe; no towel rack in the shower; no storage space for toiletries; the water in the room was not refilled; no space to store extra pillows; no way to use the TV for Netflix or other streaming services; waiting times at breakfast; wobbly tables and chairs at breakfast; only one Nespresso machine provided acceptable coffee at breakfast; outdated furnishings; dark rooms overlooking the glass roof of a shopping center.

Overall, I was very satisfied with the resort hotel; the rooms were very comfortable. I felt quite relaxed over the next few days, especially enjoying the breakfasts, which were excellent for several days in a row.

Everything was great, a stylish hotel. Only minor flaws like a split duvet or peeling paint prevented it from being a perfect stay.

This was our most satisfying hotel stay so far. The hotel service was meticulous and thoughtful, from the freshest and most delicious meals to the thoughtful and comprehensive safety facilities, such as the indoor anti-slip design and emergency equipment. Every detail reflects the care for the guests. The service staff was enthusiastic and professional, making people feel at home. What's more surprising is that the hotel can also help us arrange various local activities at a very cost-effective price, so that we can have a worry-free and enjoyable stay. A truly perfect stay experience, highly recommended!

Hotel located inside the Plaza Madeira Shopping Mall. Difficult to find as the entrance is through the shopping mall (?) or through the private garage below the shopping mall. Little information and difficult to understand how to get to reception via the garage. Even Waze struggled to find the hotel. We went up 2 elevators and entered a door with a bell, a narrow corridor and then an open terrace. Then there is a heavy glass door to access the event lounge. The floor is entirely made of gravel (stone) and it is difficult for suitcases with wheels to roll. Despite the marathon (escape game) the hotel is boutique with a beautiful view and a 5-star breakfast. If they improved the arrival to welcome customers as is customary in 5-star hotels, it would be pure luxury. Pool heating on the Terrace would be a plus. Clean rooms and minibar "on demand". We even liked the robot that collects the plates and utensils from the cafe.

Very good location, very nice service, no complaints about the room
