Location was good as is just a 10 min walk to downtown. As a frequent traveler, I don't consider the hotel 5-star rated hotel. It's ok for a 4-star, but not 5. Doesn't meet a 5-star standard in several things. For example, if you are driving, parking is a little bit an hassle as you have to change from one building to another. Breakfast was good but not 5-star breakfast. Lack of warm breakfast dishes and pastries. Windows in the room not sound proof. Woke up severals times during night time as you could hear the noise from the Garbage truck. When you take a shower, leaks water towards the hand sink area. Pillows, not match a 5-star standard either. Was ok, but not great!

Location ways, very convenient. Room was somehow smaller than what it look like on the photos. Congratulations to the Marketing team. Windows need to be fixed. Too noisy from outside. Breakfast was good.

Good service breakfast

This was our most satisfying hotel stay so far. The hotel service was meticulous and thoughtful, from the freshest and most delicious meals to the thoughtful and comprehensive safety facilities, such as the indoor anti-slip design and emergency equipment. Every detail reflects the care for the guests. The service staff was enthusiastic and professional, making people feel at home. What's more surprising is that the hotel can also help us arrange various local activities at a very cost-effective price, so that we can have a worry-free and enjoyable stay. A truly perfect stay experience, highly recommended!

Hotel located inside the Plaza Madeira Shopping Mall. Difficult to find as the entrance is through the shopping mall (?) or through the private garage below the shopping mall. Little information and difficult to understand how to get to reception via the garage. Even Waze struggled to find the hotel. We went up 2 elevators and entered a door with a bell, a narrow corridor and then an open terrace. Then there is a heavy glass door to access the event lounge. The floor is entirely made of gravel (stone) and it is difficult for suitcases with wheels to roll. Despite the marathon (escape game) the hotel is boutique with a beautiful view and a 5-star breakfast. If they improved the arrival to welcome customers as is customary in 5-star hotels, it would be pure luxury. Pool heating on the Terrace would be a plus. Clean rooms and minibar "on demand". We even liked the robot that collects the plates and utensils from the cafe.

The best hotel in Funchal. We stayed in 2 more famous places, so the conclusion is clear. Exceptional staff. Very quiet. In the corridors there are water machines, which also have sparkling water (you can fill a bottle from your room). Cool tea in the room. Smart lighting system. But the main advantage: in the city center, very close to the embankment and beautiful central streets. Free parking! We drove according to the navigator, pressed the button to connect to the hotel near the barrier to the parking lot. No difficulties arose. The building has access to a shopping center. I would extend my stay here
