When I went there at 4:30 in the afternoon, there was no one around and I couldn't check in. I had to wait for half an hour and then contacted Ctrip customer service before I could get in. I don't recommend it. There is a curtain to separate the mixed gender. I was shocked when I left and the housekeeper said I didn't want it anymore. If you don't show up and make a reservation, you won't be refunded any other money.

Great hostel. Beds in the dorms were very private and felt comfy and safe. Staff was super nice and gave us a lot of recommendations. Had a small place where you could mingle with other visitors but unfortunately the space was limited. Only thing to cook with was a kettle which limited us cooking (and we were travelling on a budget). Really cool old building

I had a really distressing experience staying in a mixed dorm with a man early morning. There are no staff on the premises, apart from 8am -10am. No emergency alarm. Helpline puts you on hold. Owner wasn't helpful and was accusing of me, didn't feel heard or cared for. First and last time staying there and in a mixed dormitory. Not safe for women.

Great hostel - very comfortable, easy check in, no complaints at all. Also really well located in the town - right by everything but in a spot that was quiet and peaceful at night. Really recommend and would definitely stay again.

It was economical and the only game in town. There is 1 bathroom per floor of potentially 8 people, at least. There is no kitchen. There are a bank of small lovers in the hallway, but no security in the rooms.

Not the ideal situation for a family of 5 adults (all in one room with bunk beds) shared bathroom in the hall. Clean and pleasant.

I had booked a night in Old Kings hostel because my friend and I visited the Neuschwanstein Castle. The hostel is near the tourist spots and near the train station. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. He made our trip easier because he had explained which bus to ride (we bought our bus tickets in the hostel) to the castle and what to see around Füssen. We also availed their breakfast meal and it is tasty. We are overall satisfied with the service in Old Kings Hostel. I highly recommend it .

Der Aufenthaltsbereich war echt schön gemütlich. Man kann sich selbst jederzeit an Tee und Café (French press, außer frühs) für legitime Preise bedienen. Das Zimmer LOFT war schön und sauber eingerichtet. Es war überraschend angenehm - für unsere erste Hostel Erfahrung mit 6 anderen Fremden in einem Zimmer zu übernachten. Das Hostel befindet sich quasi mitten in der Altstadt in einer ruhigen Seitengasse. Das Bad (für die Damen) war ordentlich sauber, man bekommt ein großes Handtuch gestellt und es gibt auch gratis seife / duschgel. Und ganz wichtig für die dels unter uns einen Föhn! Ich kann euch das Hostel nur empfehlen. Marie
