Fuzhou Wanxin Hotel (Changle International Airport)

The hotel owner was very responsive via WeChat. He'd come in his minivan to fetch you even if you're the only party. He'll also send you to the airport no matter what time. The hotel is in the suburbs and the surroundings look kinda dodgy but it's super near the airport, it's convenient if you're transiting, which we were. It's right beside an unassuming eatery which had fantastic food (really underrated) so you can just pop downstairs any time for food. We were out past 1 am and there was still food. The hotel owner was very friendly and helpful. He gave us slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste. The toilet had toiletries and a hairdryer too. All expected. Aircon/heating is decent, room was clean and simple. WiFi provided, water pressure is decent, mineral water and kettle available too. We had a bit of a plumbing issue because we didn't know you can't flush toilet paper down the toilet in China but the hotel owner came quickly with his plunger and saved the night. I have nothing to complain about and only gratefulness!

Its near to airport and free pick up and drop off. Tho there is language barrier as I don't speak Chinese, but the boss is really nice, kind and initiate to communicate with us. The room is simple but nice and quite big also. For sure I will book this hotel again when I visit Fuzhou.

Stayed at Fuzhou Wanxin Hotel near Changle Airport for a short layover. Didn’t expect much, and it was just okay overall. The real plus point was the free airport transfer service, which was smooth and reliable. Good for a quick rest for layover, but don’t expect anything fancy. Owner also very responsive to requests—very quick and helpful. Good option for a short rest between flights.
