This hotel should be called the Imperiale Napoleanic Hotel. It has grandiose ambitions towards 4 stars whilst delivering a very disappointing experience to its guests. Despite the presence of antique items in the reception area, the reality is far less grand, much more in keeping with the uncomfortable plastic thrones on the terrace. Firstly..the room. Shabby, uncomfortable mattress and flat pillows, smelly bathroom with no working extraction system, no complimentary toiletries other than a tiny bar of soap and a shower cap. The fridge is off and empty, no tea & coffee and no drinking glasses. Now to the restaurant..oh dear !!. The decor is totally over the top, overlit to the point of being blinding, and horror of horrors, each table is decorated with a piece of coral in a bowl. Breakfast is supposed to be a buffet. It is not. A table separates the guests from the food trays and one must queue to point to the waiter to indicate what you would like him to place on your plate. My husband was shouted at on the first morning for wrongly picking up a large plate. He angered the waiter again when on another morning, being in a rush and finding no waiters in the restaurant he started to serve himself. What a nerve !!!! I only attended breakfast once. Far too stressful and the offerings are meagre. eg: the only fruits available were prunes and plums which the server handed to you in the tiniest of bowls. The management is not concerned with environmental issues, as the water and watered down juices are served in plastic cups. Why not a glass? The first course at dinner was also supposed to be a buffet. Again, one had to stand back and point to unidentified dishes and be served by the waiter. The next two pre- ordered courses were mostly inedible, followed by a no choice dessert. The staff in the hotel were not particularly friendly or helpful. I hated the atmosphere in the restaurant and if only other places were open nearby, would have eaten out. One evening we met some interesting fellow guests and were finishing off our drinks in the lounge area. At around 11.15 pm a member of management, who I nicknamed Lurkio, passed by a couple of times with a glowering expression and proceeded to turn lights off. There is NO way, in any stretch of the imagination, that this hotel deserves those 4 stars and should be re-assessed, in fairness to other hotels like the nearby Sans Souci which thoroughly deserves them. Don't even think about staying in this one. The only good thing about it is the proximity to the beach and there are plenty of hotels that benefit from that.

Having read previous reviews on this hotel, I can thoroughly endorse them. It was a delight to spend 10 nights here recently. The hotel is family run and nothing is too much trouble for them in ensuring that you are relaxed and happy. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and comfortable, with panoramic uninterupted views of the sea and golden sandy beach. Comfortable beds, mini bar, toiletries, TV and excellent WiFi. Mealtimes were a delight with so much choice of fresh delicious food all served with a smile by the delightful staff. The Maitre d' Lorenz works very hard to ensure that everything runs smoothly. During our stay there was a great fun music night and we also had the chance to watch from our balcony, a marriage taking place on the beautiful terrace below. The owners and reception team were always ready to help with any queries we had. The only downside was when, due to lack of availability for our last 4 nights we had to relocate to another so called 4 star hotel further down the road, called Grand Hotel Michelacci which was a totally different experience !!!! see my review on that. Hotel looks a bit outdated and design is also old- fashioned, but I hardly ever had as comfortable stay as at hotel Bellevue. First of all because everything is meticulously clean and cleanliness in No 1 priority when you stay at the hotel. Staff - super friendly, helpful and nice. Location - best location you can stay in Rimini. 1 min walk to the beach. They upgraded us to the room No 306, which was super comfortable. Thank you very much for making our holidays so comfortable.

We wanted to have quiet rooms due to the reviews and then lived in the neighborhood entirely above - 53 Euro per night incl the breakfast is record suspicious. . The metro station and the sound scenery were i.O. They are not so sensitive. In the garden liking at the pool is also beautiful to the beach thanks to the sideway also just a few 100m. there cost 2 beds around 10Euro. The negative reviews I cannot understand. Personal is very friendly and € 7 for a watched parking directly at the hotel is perfect. Breakfast with service which is unexpectedly rich and of great quality. Unfortunately, the large room in the bottom of the floor is not so ideal, will also be quickly full - hotel should better agree with guests to distribute them better. So wish me a nice large room in the EC for breakfast with views of the great garden. But otherwise I'd like to always.

This hotel is perfectly located between city centre and the beach. It’s also easy access to train station (10min walk) and bus 9 (airport). The bedroom was fine and bathroom was roomy and shower was good. Air con was pleasant. I didn’t try breakfast or restaurant. The safe had no keys but we eventually found them. My two quibbles: no one answered any of my emails so I had to call to double check they weren’t shut due to COVID 19 or something ; (annoying!) the cleaning starts at 7am, and frankly, the maid is the noisiest person ever. Imagine a hoover on the room next to you at 7am when you went to bed at 2am! The walls are paper thin and you hear the neighbours, which is not great, but cleaning staff can be scheduled for a more godly hour. I had the worst 3 mornings ever, up hours before I intended to be. As many travellers complained and clearly the hotel doesn’t care, I am giving only 3 stars.

Great hotel and location! Everything was extraordinary from the location to the staff. I found bothering only one issue that i never encountered through out my entire travel experience: you were entitled to only one coffee in the morning😳. Never in my Italy travel i have encountered this situation that - it was not brought to our attention at check in - on the first morning we had 2 coffees (sic) and we weren’t told /asked to pay Except this item, highly recommend the hotel as its location is perfect - not in the middle of the center of Riccione but not very far either
