I wanted to like this motel. We had been traveling for 2 weeks and this was by far the most expensive motel we stayed at. We were on first floor and at 11:00PM a sports team and families came into the motel shouting and celebrating. I can understand that because my husband is a coach and we know the excitement this can bring. If the motel worker would have guided them into the breakfast area and had them shut the doors they could have respectfully celebrated. However by 12:15AM I was losing my patience. Kids were talking and shouting down the hallways. I tried to call down to the front desk 3 times and no one ever answered the phone. The room was fine. It is dated. I would say it was average. It was a lot of money to spend for such little sleep. When I mentioned it in the morning the gal was apologetic but I wish we would have received a discount on our room. We work hard for our money too and this wasn't how I wanted to spend a night.

stayed there after a kayaking trip in Attalla. Melanie is fantastic! She's a keeper ... and Annaleisha (sorry if I'm spelling that wrong) was very sweet when we checked out. next time we're in Gadsden, we'll stay there again. super comfy bed!!
