This recently remodeled historic home built in 1907, has 2 1/2 ceramic tile baths with jetted tub. Central a/c and heating plus window a/c in some rooms. A gas heater is in the entertainment room. It sleeps 13 people in 6 bedrooms, three queens plus 7 twin beds Two downstairs couches sleep two additional guests (they are not sleeper sofas) . 15 total. It is one short block to the beach and Seawall Blvd. at Murdochs Pier and then 2 blocks west on Seawall to the new Pleasure Pier. The Galvez hotel is 1 block east. Many of Galveston's most popular restaurants (Guidos, Fish Tales, Salt Grass, BLVD, ,Bernardos' at the Galvez, Spots, plus many others are within a few blocks) and the house is on the bus/trolley line. The amenities include wireless internet and satellite TV and radio cd player, out door gas grill, game room, library, Wii 2 sunroom. The home has hardwood floors throughout and ceramic tile floors in the kitchen and bathrooms. The big front porch is great for socializing and generally has a pleasant breeze.
