Best Western Plus Seawall Inn Suites by the Beach

The room was fine and the location was perfect for the fishing docks. But there was a man banging on a door at 1am because his daughter was locked in. I feel for them but the hotel attendant acted like there was no way for them to help when we called.

The place was clean very friendly great service. The bed was the best.

Over priced but room was comfortable and location was convenient. Breakfast was good but not as many hot options as a Holiday Inn Express.

Why and how is this hotel rated so high on *******?? It's a dump. I am embarrassed I booked here and had to apologize to my family multiple times for taking the ******* reviews seriously. Firstly, they allow long term cruise parking so there is no parking for guests; we had to park on the Seawall which is not the hotel parking lot. The interior was run down. This place needs a major renovation. The entire gym was closed. The walls were so thin that we heard the conversations of the guests next door and heavy footsteps and loud noises from upstairs literally all night. The noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at. The refrigerator didn't work. The furniture was chipped and cracked. The "pull out sofa" mattress was no longer a mattress, just springs. Awful. The most bizarre thing was the floor underneath the carpet in the room; there are weird huge bumps in the flooring underneath the carpet. It's like walking in a funhouse. The only positive thing about our stay was the front desk manager Renee; she was kind and helpful and cheerful.

The place was very clean and nice right on seawall! Them offering cruise parking was a plus! It is first come first serve though so if you are planning to use them for cruise parking I would recommend getting there sooner! But the staff was very nice and answered any questions we had! Definitely will be staying here again!

I cannot control a flight getting cancelled or a shuttle dropping me off at the wrong Best Western, but then trying to cancel OH NO you can’t have a refund. ******* needs to help customers and not allow the Hotels to dictate there policies

The staff was great and very knowledgeable about Galveston. The room was clean and tidy. They were repainting near our room, but Liz let us know we could change rooms if it became an issue, which was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
