The smiles of the staff at the front desk, bathhouse reception, and restaurant were truly heartwarming. I'd love to stay here again.

Our stay was excellent, mainly thanks to the fantastic location close to tourist spots and the shore. The facilities are well maintained, even though the furniture and building are a bit old. Most rooms are traditional Japanese ryokan style, offering a wonderful atmosphere, and it seems nearly all have ocean views facing Takeshima Island. I didn’t get a chance to visit the onsen, so I can’t comment on that. The breakfast has a wide selection, mostly Japanese-style dishes, and most guests appear to be of older age.

I had an errand at Laguna Ten Bosch the next day, so I decided to search for a hotel with one night's accommodation and two meals included that morning. I found a room available and booked it. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations, but the hot springs, food, and room were all much better than I had imagined. It was much more satisfying than staying at one of those questionable hotels in Laguna.

The tranquil sea view and comfortable and clean hot springs are very suitable for families or solo travelers. It is close to the Takeshima Aquarium. Although there are not many delicious coffee shops nearby, the walking trail to the island and shrine is very convenient. The hotel is large, and the small shop downstairs will have various specialties from the Mikawa area. Because it is a traditional hot spring hotel, a bottle of ice water is provided every day, which is very thoughtful.

I am very dissatisfied that the room I was assigned is always in the corner. I don't know if it's because I'm a foreigner, there are other empty rooms. If it weren't for the good location, I wouldn't have come. But I decided to go to a hotel with a high rating next time.
