Gyeongpo Soo Hotel

It’s really right in front of the sea!! The price was reasonable so I didn't expect much. The bed was large and the room was spacious and very comfortable. It was convenient to have a water purifier and microwave on every floor. The parking lot was large, so there was no inconvenience at all when using it. I plan to use it again next time I come to Gangneung.

I went there after reading many reviews, and I am leaving my honest opinion. First of all, the location is great and it's great to be able to go to nearby tourist attractions from the accommodation. Considering how old the building is, it seemed to be well maintained, but it wasn't very clean. Personally, the most important thing, sleeping, was very disappointing. The bed mattress is cheap and the blanket is heavy and cheap… If you look closely, the bedding is very old... The bed was uncomfortable and my whole body was tingling when I woke up in the morning. The ocean view was nice and it was in front of the beach and everything was so so, but because of the bed and bedding, I will leave Soo Hotel as a memory after this. However, considering the price range and other factors, it is definitely a good value for money place.

This is a good value hotel. It is a quiet hotel close to the sea, easy to get to Gangneung Station. Since it was a family hotel, the noise wasn't too bad. Although the facility is old, it has a view of the sea or Gyeongpo Lake, so it's nice to zone out while drinking tea. ^^

As it is an old hotel, the facilities are outdated. The room I was assigned had a half sea view. I was disappointed because it was different from the picture I saw on Trip.com. The view would have been better in a different room on the same floor...
