The room was very clean and spacious, but there were a few small ants. Also, you need to explicitly request housekeeping for the room to be cleaned.

Really liked the room. It's exactly as pictured and the price is affordable for four people. The view from the room is also great. It's very comfortable for sleeping. The only drawback might be that it's not very close to the tourist spots.

The environment here is very relaxing, and the front desk staff are friendly. The room has a homey feel, which is very comfortable.

The location of 22 Macalisterz by MyKey is really great, making it super convenient to get around Penang. The staff were also quite polite and offered good service, which is definitely commendable. The interior design of the unit is genuinely photogenic, with a stylish black and white minimalist look that feels very modern. However, I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness inside. While it looked okay on the surface, upon closer inspection during my stay, I found the unit to be quite dirty, with many areas poorly cleaned. The most outrageous part was waking up in the middle of the night to find bugs on the bed! As a hotel, bed hygiene is a fundamental requirement, and this incident made me feel very uncomfortable. Although the location and service are good, the cleanliness really needs significant improvement, especially the issue with bugs on the bed. This truly detracts from the experience. Anyone booking here should seriously consider if they can tolerate the cleanliness issues.
