The stay was awesome! The complimentary tour about the history of the place was great and buffet breakfast that was included was yummy!
There's even free Kuehs on the first day of stay.

Our stay at the blue mansion was amazing from start to finish. The staff were excellent and efficient. The room was great, with some nice touches like biscuits and sarongs to use by the pool. It’s worth noting the room had a fan and air conditioning which we didn’t expect from a historic residence. We were blown away by the hotel and would recommend it to anyone staying in Georgetown. It really added to our trip.

Friendly staff and good service. Had a lovely 5 night stay at this historic hotel/mansion, but it was a little noisy being in downtown Georgetown, which was compensated for by the mansion's history and the excellent complimentary twice daily tours for guests. I went on two, the Friday morning one conducted by the architect/conservator/owner Mrs. Loh, who is very interesting and knowledgeable about UNESCO listings.
Breakfasts were excellent, but we ate out for other meals, Penang being famous for its street food and ready availability nearby including the Red Garden Food Paradise right next door.

The yin energy is indeed there. I was so scared that I fell asleep at three in the morning. It is only suitable for browsing, not suitable for living. There are basically no Chinese living there, only white people. It is really difficult to stay in a hotel that is over a hundred years old. There are also many portraits of deceased ancestors hanging.
Facilities: The room facilities are old and the faucet in the bathroom sink is inconvenient to use.
Environment: The color of the area where I live is not blue, and the house is quite old.
Service: I called the front desk at 6:45 in the morning and no one answered the phone five times. The stairs are not easy to walk and I have to carry my luggage by myself.
