Located right in Gurney Bay, with authentic local restaurants on both sides, it's super convenient. I arrived quite early, and Penang hotels seem to be very strict about their 3 PM check-in time. However, I was lucky to meet the B&B owner who kindly arranged for me to check in at noon, which I really appreciated. Overall, compared to similar hotels in Bangkok or Pattaya, Thailand, the price here is a bit high. It's a small place but has everything you need. The soundproofing is terrible; the chanting from the Islamic temple started very early, and you could clearly hear doors closing in the hallway. I also happened to catch the elevator under maintenance and had to climb to the fourth floor. But since it was only for one night, I just made do. The service, though, was still very good.

Wangs Hotel cleanliness and Service is just average only. The PLUS is the hotel room comes with breakfast & Its near to a lot of eatries shops near gurney Drive. Opposite the Wangs Hotel there is a Park for jogging and small play ground for children.

Hotel is clean. Toilet is a bit small. Hotel location is 3which gurney drive is Walkable. Nearby has a lot of restaurants. Parking is limited. We enjoyed the breakfasts which provided by the hotel. Tq.

Good vacation experience for simple couple. Located at the heart of Gurney Bay Park, near to amenities, shopping plaza, eatery and recreation park. Recommended and will return again in future. Just need to plan transportation since the parking is limited.

The location is convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they also provide a simple breakfast which is good for the rate of stay. However, the room cleanliness needs improvement, and the bed made my back feel itchy, which was uncomfortable. Hopefully, the hotel can improve on cleanliness and room comfort.
