The location is excellent. But fell short in several areas. Lack of parking. The room sound proofing is poor. The water heater wasn't working. Reported early in the morning and nothing was done come evening. No intention of going back. There are many choices in Penang for that rate.

Noise insulation is very poor and some guests kept the door open and chatting until late hours. Smell of cigarettes on the 4 floor

The only good thing about this hotel is only the location, the room dirty and moist, no window, and the worst thing is the staff doesn’t help at all or even give any solutions. Booked via apps and after we checked the rooms, the condition was so bad, we even asked to upgrade the room but the staff doesn’t want to upgrade and even cannot show or give us another room. We booked for 2 nights and decided to book another hotel since the room in Macalister is a complete disaster. Hopefully the management do something about their hotel

Simple and no frills budget hotel. Conveniently located, just beside the New Lane night food market, so no problem to find food. If you’re driving, parking is a problem, available parking lots are only 3 slots in front of the hotel, else you have to park at the road side near by.

Near to hospital and nearby many food stalls. Location is strategy and convenient to go anywhere. Only room is consider small.
