The two owners and the two cats are super nice! I slept very comfortably at night, and the snacks and breakfast were delicious 😋 2. The guesthouse is in a great location; there are plenty of restaurants nearby. There's a local supermarket around the corner, and a small clinic downstairs (I initially went into the wrong place). About 100+ meters away is a "Yu Sheng Ren" (a local health clinic). 3. Social butterflies shouldn't miss Ricky/Amit/… (the owner has several names for himself). You might even bump into him at the Indian restaurant around the corner. Order fried noodles and he'll cook them for you himself—they're delicious! 👍 Finally, some things you might want to avoid: 1. First of all, this is Little India, so of course there are Indians everywhere. However, you can boldly try Indian food here (even my sensitive stomach ate a ton and still got off perfectly). 2. Make sure you see clearly that there are no private bathrooms, so it's best to shower and use the toilet early. Occasionally, you might have to wait in line because there are quite a few people staying here every day. 3. Don't wear shoes indoors. If you really don't want to go barefoot, you can wear socks.

Because I missed the flight, it was already 8pm when I arrived at the hotel. I told the store that I would arrive before 10pm, and I didn't contact the store before I arrived. When I got downstairs, the store owner actually stood downstairs to greet me. At that time, it was completely dark. I dare not think how long he had been waiting downstairs. I didn't expect that someone would wait like this for a guest who only stayed for one day. I originally thought that I would contact the store owner when I got downstairs and he would come to open the door for me, but he was downstairs when I arrived. Later, when I left the hotel to play in Penang, the store owner also recommended attractions and local specialties to me. I arrived at night and left early in the morning, so I didn't know the situation of the cafe. This hotel should be converted from an old Chinese residence. Those who want to experience it can try to stay for one night. I stayed in room 6. The floor of the room was very clean, and it can be said that there was no dust. The facilities were just a little old, but it was very tidy and there was no discomfort. When I came, the store owner asked me if I was from Japan? I said no, I'm Chinese, and then I saw his eyes paused for a moment, I didn't know what it meant at the time, and later I saw a Japanese kimono doll hanging in the room, I think it was because of this. I was not angry about this, I just sighed at the store owner's attentiveness. The hotel also provides drinks and meals, but they are in the public area, which is not a good thing for people like me who like to be alone, but now that things have come to this, maybe I can change myself and enjoy the process of interacting with people. When I checked in, the store owner also carefully introduced everything about the hotel to me, but my English is not very good, so there are many things I don't understand, I can only judge from his body movements. The store owner is very enthusiastic, but I am a little afraid of this kind of enthusiasm shown by the other party when interacting with people. Although this enthusiasm is very innocent and has not crossed the line, it is just dedicated to serving his guests and introducing his small shop, but if the store owner ignores me and only arranges what should be arranged, I will feel more at ease. In general, if I give this hotel a full score of 10, the owner's hospitality and attentiveness would get 6.5 points, and the remaining 2 points are due to my filter for old Nanyang dwellings, because I spent my childhood with my biological mother in such a house, and a few points are for friendship.

Although this hotel is relatively old, it is still acceptable for a short stay of two days, and the service staff are quite enthusiastic.

The staff in the store are very friendly and can ask for help if you need anything. The environment is relatively clean. The disadvantage is that the water column for bathing is weak. The public space of the hotel provides a variety of self-service, which is very suitable for long-term travel.
