Athena Hotel

We had a wonderful 10 nights at the Athena. Loved the quiet location just a short walk from the shops, tavernas, square and beach. The studio and one bed apartment were great, both had generous size balconies. Our faced the road but did not bother us. The Athena is spotlessly clean, everything is in very good condition and well maintained. The pool looked lovely and very clean but did not use as we love going beach. We found Matina and her son to be such lovely hosts; warm, friendly, helpful and welcoming. We would stay again and definitely recommend!

Wonderful place where we stayed as a family. Quiet, very well maintained, properly furnished. Special mention goes to the efficient and proper daily cleaning of our apartment. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The place is well situated near the biggest supermarket in Georgioupolis, amazing bakery, restaurants. The bus stop to Chania is 50 m. The swimming pool is clean and nice. We will definitely return to this place to stay in Georgioupolis.

The apartments are top notch, with generous size balconies and comfortable, modern patio furniture. The Athena is spotlessly clean, everything is in very good condition and well maintained. The pool is a real asset, set as it is, in peaceful gardens. We found Matina and her son to be such lovely hosts; warm, friendly, helpful and welcoming. We would definitely recommend!

Had an amazing stay here over the last 5 nights, whole Property was immaculate and you can see the care the family put into running it. Great location only 5 minute walk from town centre and 5/10 to The beach. Plenty of tavernas and shops close by again within 5/10 minutes. Property is underrated and for what we paid it was above our expectations and underrated. During the day most other guests went to the beach meaning that we had use of the pool to ourselves and loved it. Would book again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a wonderful stay

Clean, simple, good location and the hosts are just wonderful. Super accommodating and helpful. Couldn’t ask for more and it’s cheap as chips as well!

Spotlessly clean and brilliant hosts, nothing was too much trouble. A friendly and relaxed hotel ideally placed to discover georgioupolis or further afield either by car or bus. I stayed there recently with my daughter and couldnt have picked a better place for us.

Just back from a fantastic stay in Georgiopoulis, loved our stay at the Athena Hotel, lovely family run hotel, friendly, spotlessly clean, lovely swimming pool area. Only tiny problem was the shower pressure some evenings was very low but not a big problem. Will definitely stay again

This hotel is a gem in Georgioupoli, such a clean hotel/apartment with friendly welcoming staff. It has a lovely pool area which we virtually had to ourselves, very unusual these days. There is a charge for air conditioning and safe but worth paying. With so much on your doorstep i.e restaurants, bars, supermarket, you don’t need to venture far. I would definitely recommend the Athena Hotel and will be returning.
