Nice hotel and good experience in Gero. The hotel does not have too many facilities but hot spring is ok. Location is right next to the station, very convenient.

The stay in Mutsumikan was very good. The Hotel (Ryokan) is very close to the train station. To the center of Gero it takes roundabout 5 minutes by foot. The experience seemed very authentic. Most of the staff understand basic english, so communication was never an issue. Our room was very clean and tidy. Everything you need for a 2 night trip was there. The outdoorbath was pretty small, but that was never an issue with the amount of people staying there. Breakfast and dinner were in a japanese style and very tasty, but maybe not to everyone's palate. Overall the stay was pretty good and I would stay there again.

The hotel is located near Gero Station, at the intersection of the town. It is clean and warm. The water in the hot spring town is particularly smooth. There is an open-air bath. Breakfast and dinner are included. The food is rich, including Hida beef and sashimi. It is a great experience!
