Gero Onsen Kanko Hotel Yumotokan

The waiters are friendly, but the facilities are old and there are not enough sockets in the room. But the nice thing is that there is a medium-sized electric hot water heater with constant temperature in the room!

Typical Japanese style hot spring hotel. During our half-month trip to Japan with a group of eight friends, we had the only tatami experience one night, and it was also the only hotel where we booked dinner. It is very suitable for Chinese people who are experiencing Japanese hot spring culture for the first time, and the price/performance ratio is good. The hotel is old and the hot springs are great (slippery). The hotel is in a good location, just a few minutes walk to the main street. Along the way, you can see many small hot springs and footbathing places along the river. The geothermal resources are really great. It is recommended to order dinner. The variety is rich and includes a variety of typical Japanese dishes. It is worth trying.

The room facilities are relatively old and the breakfast is simple. The location is good. It's a ten-minute walk from Gero Station and not far from the main attractions. The service staff is very friendly. There is an uncle who can speak Chinese. There is a 24-hour hot spring on the first floor.

Gero Onsen Village is famous, so I looked for a ryokan there. Among them, I decided on Yumotokan after considering the price and location of the accommodation. First of all, the location of the accommodation was really good. It was close to Gero Station and I walked around here and there. The room was also great for two people to stay in. I really liked the breakfast and dinner as they were very well prepared. One downside is the hot springs. There was only one hot spring bath. I thought there was an outdoor area, but that wasn't the case. Still, it was fun to enjoy the hot springs in Gero Village.

Although the hotel rooms are old, they are well maintained, clean and spacious. The only drawback of the hot springs is that they are a bit too hot, which is very suitable for travelers with a limited budget. The location is very good, less than 5 minutes away from the hot spring street, and there are restaurants and restaurants along the way. Souvenir shop, I will stay here again if I have the chance.

The service is very good and it's close to JR. There is no denying that the hotel is older, but the toilet and bathroom in the room are new and clean. The hot spring is only indoors and has no view. However, there are few people and it is quiet and comfortable. There was a slight problem, but it was quickly resolved. It is only 5-10 minutes away from the main attraction riverside convenience store.
