Hotel Chamade

A really great hotel, small but charming and refined. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. I loved the style of this hotel, and it's also very convenient for getting around!

Almost no flaws, except for the very narrow single bed. The location is great, only a 5-minute walk from the train station and 30 minutes from the city center. Plus, they offer tea, coffee, and water, which is almost unheard of in Europe. The lady at the front desk was super helpful on my first day. She recommended many attractions, gave me a map, and even suggested local restaurants with their closing times. This made starting my Ghent trip a wonderful experience. See you next time! 👋

Right outside Ghent train station, a 200-meter walk (as shown in image 2) leads you to this very new and clean hotel. The free tea and coffee in the lounge area on the first floor (left-hand side) are a fantastic bonus! The kind lady at reception allowed us to check in early, which was lovely of her – another great plus! The room itself was clean and comfortable, equipped with instant coffee packets and a kettle. The bathroom even had a bidet function, which is a nice touch! Getting around is super convenient, as you can catch tram T1 or T3 right outside. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my stay, a perfect 100 points! I'd definitely stay here again or recommend it to friends. Thank you for your efforts! Thanks!

Unexpectedly good! The hotel is very close to the station. After arriving from Brussels South Station, it's about a five-minute walk to the hotel. The environment is super nice, and there's free bottled water downstairs. The breakfast was amazing, very Western-style. I stayed for three days and had a fantastic experience. It's about a kilometer from the city center and the Bell Tower, a pleasant walk away. The city has shopping areas. There's an ice cream shop downstairs at the hotel that's always busy, and diagonally opposite there's a Chinese supermarket, with Chinese restaurants and noodle shops nearby. It's really great, definitely my top choice for Ghent! The price is reasonable too. The room cards are all pink, super cute and thoughtful. There's a very humorous and attentive man at the front desk. He told me that after a certain time at night, only the back door would be open and the front desk would close. My flight was very early, and he also told me how to check out. His English was excellent!

The hotel offers complimentary drinking water, which is a great plus! It's conveniently located near the train station, making transportation easy. While it's a bit far from the old town, you can take a tram or walk there in about 20 minutes.

Didn't expect to find such a great hotel so close to the train station. The room wasn't huge, but it was very clean. The bed was a little narrow, but the charger outlets right by the headboard were super convenient. The bathroom was excellent, and breakfast was good too. I'll definitely stay here again next time.
