Quartier Leonard

The room was large, and bright, but that's probably the only good thing. The mattress is disgusting, badly stained. There is mould in the bathroom, up the wall, also by the middle window. There are nasty brown stains over walls curtains andlamp. The room smells stale, when we arrived, only two of us there was a mattress and used bedding in the room. The skirting boards are black with dust and grime. Free Toiletries are what the previous guests have used or left behind . The smoke alarm in the room and the communal kitchen have been disabled. The lock on the room door has no screws in it, either side, and comes off in your hand. The communal kitchen is disgusting, the washing sponges were at least a month old, no washing up liquid hence the sink was full of dirty dishes. I asked if the microwave could be cleaned, the floor looks like it hasn't been cleaned this year, the fridge is also in need of a good clean. Information in the room asked guests to be understanding as renovation work was going on, it seems this is old paperwork and the renovation is completed. Oh and if you stay in the room at the top of the stairs, beware as several spindles of the bannister are missing. My advice is find somewhere else
