Lumi Hotel Gili Trawangan

We chose this hotel for our honeymoon because we were looking for a place on the west side of the island, which is generally quieter than the east and offers beautiful sunsets. This place looked promising, so we booked it. The food at the hotel is absolutely delicious, and in the evenings, you can enjoy drinks, especially the fantastic cocktails 🤤, by the beach or at the pool. All the staff are incredibly friendly, and the room condition is excellent. The bathroom isn't a completely open-air one, so we didn't have to worry about rain or bugs. They also offer free bicycle rentals, which makes getting around very convenient.

The room was incredibly small, and the bathroom was tiny and cramped. The bathroom wasn't even a proper room; it was just partitioned off with wooden boards. The room was so small that there wasn't even space for a chair or a table. This hotel definitely wasn't worth 500 yuan. The hotel service was very mediocre, or rather, there was basically no service at all. On our check-out day, we wanted to go snorkeling and asked for a late check-out until 1 PM, but the hotel completely refused. It was very inflexible and unfriendly. The hotel is quite far from the pier. If you have luggage, you'll need to take a horse cart, which costs about 80 RMB. The worst part was the hotel's hygiene. I think there were fleas; my inner thighs and calves were covered in large, itchy bumps. It might have been from the sofa bed by the pool or the sofas in the common areas.

A good, clean hotel. The service is good, but the breakfasts are very meager; it's better to eat outside the hotel. I think this is because the hotel was half-empty. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. And the best beach on this side of the island is right here. The sunsets are gorgeous. Definitely go swimming with the turtles!

I booked a bungalow for 3 days and ended up staying for 5. Everything was superb: stylish, private, quiet, trendy, and modern. Highly recommend!

Ambiance: Fantastic, the pool was great. Facilities: Just one small thing – after diving, I wanted to rinse my clothes in fresh water, but my white t-shirt turned yellow.

They are very welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. They assisted us with bicycles, answered all our questions, and made our stay even more enjoyable. 🍽️ Food and Services: The breakfasts are delicious, with a variety of dishes to suit all tastes, and the restaurant offers interesting international cuisine. The free bicycles are a fantastic bonus, making it easy to explore the entire island. 🌞 Overall Impression: This hotel is perfect for anyone looking to relax, enjoy nature, a beautiful beach, and a tranquil atmosphere. The best hotel on Gili!!! We booked a bungalow and it exceeded all our expectations!!! The hotel grounds are very clean and beautiful. I will definitely recommend it!!!
