Lutwala Bungalows and Private Villa

Globally it was a nice stay with few comments I would like to mention: 1. It will be nice to put more bottles of water in the room for the guests. 2. Refilling the gallon of water more often will be a plus especially since there is not enough water in the rooms. 3. The breakfast buffet should be checked in order to be refill faster if the food is over for the new guest coming to eat.

Avoid this place at all costs. This hotel is a complete scam and one of the worst accommodations I have ever experienced. The hotel is extremely dirty and poorly maintained. The room was almost uninhabitable. What was advertised as a double bed was actually two separate beds pushed together with a metal structure in the middle, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The mattresses were in terrible condition, and the springs could be felt through them, causing back pain after just one night. The bed sheets were dirty, stained, and had a strong unpleasant smell. The humidity inside the room was unbearable, making the entire stay uncomfortable. The bathroom was disgusting, with holes and damaged areas everywhere, and the water drainage system was literally located next to the room entrance. To make matters worse, the water was salty, as if it was being pumped directly from the sea. The biggest disappointment, however, was the management. The non-Indonesian managers behaved in a very suspicious and unprofessional manner. Instead of helping guests, they seemed more interested in finding ways to take advantage of them. Their attitude was disrespectful, dishonest, and gave the impression that misleading customers was part of their business model. The breakfast that was supposedly included in the booking was another joke. It was served in unacceptable conditions and was far below even the most basic standards. This hotel does not deserve a single dollar from any traveler. The photos and descriptions do not reflect reality. What you get is a dirty room, terrible facilities, and management that cannot be trusted. Save your money, save your time, and stay somewhere else.

Try to avoid this hotel at all costs. It was a horrible night in this hotel very dirty rooms no soap or bad cover Ac was not working in 2 rooms and they didn't fixed it even though we have informed them the minute we took the rooms. The sink is a hole in the wall sending the used water outside the rooms where the stuff of the hotel sleep so you can imagine the smell and the conditions where people that work in the hotel sleep. There is no fresh water in the hotel systems they are using sea salty water so you can't shower after swimming. Same for the swimming pool they are using sea water. I stayed one night and I had to change the hotel because we were not able to stay is such conditions but the owners refused to refund our money but i changed the hotel anyways. One of the rooms door was broken and didn't close and a friend lost the room key the owner refused to let my friend leaves before paying extra 200000 idr for a door that was already broken. They informed us that the rooms include twin beds in reality you will have 2 sofas next to each other's Nothing special in this hotel just the location and the nice goat lovely kuttens5and parrots. The workers are so kind too. The owner is super super rude

Dirt disguised as animal welfare. Yes they have a goat and they have animals, the advertisements and marketing around it is very cute. What they don't show you is that they don't clean the cages and they absolutely stink, the goat ( although cute) leave dropping everywhere which are not often cleaned and the cats do with the place whatever they feel like it, including sleeping on the terrace chairs over your clean clothes or towels you felt to dry. Place is not well kept, a little bit of wind shook the door to our room all night long making it impossible to get some rest and there were rats in the roof which we could hear at night, chewing on the wood. Shampoo mixed with water so you don't spend much and the staff just looks like they don't care half the time. Breakfast is a no no, only two options eggs and pancakes. Seeing as they are charging as much as a 4 star hotel in Gili, I expected so much more

Be careful at this place. We were a group of 12 people. The accommodations are dirty and smell bad because of the sinks. There is no water pressure and we had to wait 20 minutes to get hot water in the shower. There were many scams from the office: we never got our money back for the laundry service, nor the deposit for the diving — 500,000 Rp that we never saw again. The air conditioning was also a real problem: there was no remote to adjust the temperature during the cold nights. Trying to fix this with the office, they set it to 23°C after we had spent a night at 16°C with two babies in the room. Only part of the staff was friendly, but the kindness of a few people doesn't make up for all the major issues with the accommodation. We are 12 and only had good moments when we were outside the hotel. Move on and find another hotel that will be cheaper and more respectful toward its guests. And we’re not even mentioning other disputes we had with the management. We’ll just talk about the hotel itself.

Poor condition Room were in bad condition. Trapped animals inside of small cages. Worst experience of our Bali trip. We booked for 2 days left after a couple of hours.

We just completed our open water dive course at Lutwala Dive. It was rhe greatest experience ever and our instructor Mr M was amazing. Very professional and patient. He made the whole experience that much better. I'll definitely be back!!!

I did my advance course here and my experience was superb. Billy was my instructor and he was awesome. He is very experienced so I learnt a lot and enjoyed my dives. I can’t recommend him enough. I also dove with other staff and the experience was great as well. They are great professionals and know the area very well so every dive you are able to see a lot of Marine life

We enjoyed our short stay at Lutwala. It is very quiet and separate from the hustle and bustle of the main ***** of Gili T. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated Nemo who went out of his way to make us comfortable and help us find the best snorkeling spots! The wifi here was also great which is a huge plus because that can be really hard to find sometimes as we were travelling around Indonesia. Some downsides were that the shower did not get any hot water while we were there which made for a pretty uncomfortable showering experience. The room was quite dark there was mold in the bathroom. The restaurant was also pretty pricey for the amount of food we got, but the food was tasty! Overall we had a nice short stay! The location and the kind helpful staff were the highlight!
