Reviews of Gorillas Lake Kivu Hotel

I had a great time here because the service was nice. I had some issues and the manager sorted into it and was so nice. Recommended. The lake is just across the hotel.

This old place has a good environment.

A worn out hotel that need an upgrade. The restaurant is below standard. Rooms are old, warm with no a/c and a lot of mosquito. Very insufficient internet and location in a noisy area.

I stayed for just one night whilst on business. First, as far as I can see, none of the rooms are air conditioned whatever it says on the booking sites. It is not too hot though and my room did have a fan which I did not need at night. The room was quite big and clean. It was also quiet in the pool facing room I had. Internet was adequate in the room. The shower was quite good if a bit old. Breakfast was OK with a reasonable selection. Dinner was good, at least the fish I had was. I used the pool. It was good but quite cold. No bad thing after a warm humid day. I plan on returning here next month for a bit longer.
