Very basic stay but not cheap. Room is big and the bed is pretty nice but carpet and table needs a refresh. Bathroom was pretty antiquated but adequate. It is a walk to city center but there are a bunch of clubs and restaurants right around the corner from the hotel. Subway stop is literally right next to the hotel.
Originally built in the 1800s as one of the city’s very first power stations, a building that lit the path for Glasgow’s development, the Hotel Indigo® Glasgow hotel today puts you close to a new kind of buzz—local cuisine, world-class shopping, museums, historic theatres and sporting events. Our hotel’s design mixes Victorian architecture, high ceilings, and original brown brick with modern comfort. Murals by local artists line the walls, while our restaurant serves local dishes prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. It’s a great place to chat over a brew and look for the famous local Glaswegians depicted in the mural above diners’ heads.

Another great stay. Housekeeping turned up at 10am which was disappointing cause check out isn’t till 12pm, so made me feel a bit rushed to get out. Heaters in room don’t stay above 26c even though the dial goes to 32c and me being naturally cold meant I woke up quite a bit during the night as the room wasn’t warm enough.
Highly recommend the hotel, great staff and great pool with Steam room and gym. Only real disappointing thing about the hotel is breakfast is like £18 and I’m not a big breakfast person just toast and coffee so it ain’t worth it for me I think there should be a cheaper option for light eaters.

Beautiful old railway hotel adjacent to the station, which provides excellent access if visiting by train. Though the hotel has heritage, it has been brought up to date without loosing any of its feel as a beautiful old Victorian building.
Our room was perfect, very quiet especially considering it is next to the station and the city centre, rhe beds were very comfortable, bathroom wonderful and temperature perfect. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow who doesn’t want to stay in a modern concrete box.

Modern, stylish hotel a stone's throw from the Hydro, Finnieston and Exhibition Centre Station. Just make sure if getting off the train to not make the mistake like me of taking the tunnel over the motorway which is a very roundabout way!
Lovely reception area with bar open til 2am. Reasonable prices for a hotel bar to be fair with Innis And Gunn Lager on tap. Very friendly staff.
Nice room with all modern amenities including USB-C charging slots and plugs by the bed. WiFi is very average though. Very powerful shower. Comfortable bed. Quiet. View of the Hydro's car park not particularly scenic.
Would definitely stay again if in the area and reasonable price.

Efficient and friendly check in.
Suite was comfortable, clean and spacious: extras included with drinks at bar, coffee and access to exec lounge all good. Would definitely stay again.
Would opt to go out for breakfast in future - the only downside to visit. A dirty oil taste to most cooked items of buffet, fried eggs were cold and required slightly more cooking with clear whites beside yolk. Tried the scrambled eggs instead and while light, and freshly prepared… a sever lack of flavour (suspect a pre-mixed product that was microwaved and not seasoned). Juices, yogurt/granola and coffee were good. Not worth the £15 each given what we could eat.

This trip was to visit family for Christmas. I knew I’d need an escape so booking a hotel was WISE. Originally booked for 3 days, my flight got cancelled and then rebooked for an earlier arrival time so I had to book an extra day earlier. Thankfully, They had availability. At check-in, The front desk was incredibly nice and polite. The breakfast was worth paying for. I ended up extending my stay because I enjoyed the Location, convenience and that it was a studio with a cooktop.
The last 2 days of my stay were not as enjoyable as the upstairs or next door neighbours were very loud. It wasn’t worth complying to the front desk about as I just used earplugs.
The beds are hard, not quite easy Asia hard but close with that, I’d stay again the location with brekky and having a cook top. Worth it.

The surrounding environment is very good, the scenery is pleasant, the hotel is right by the river, the parking lot is relatively large, and it is a little far from the business.

Outstanding
RReduan YusofIt is in an excellent location, near groceries and other main attractions. The hotel interior design is neat and finest. The staff was polite, kind, and attentive. The room was perfect.
Parking is near. The parking fee for my 1-night stay is 12 bucks. All is perfect
SSapphirexIbis Styles Glasgow Central is a good location to stay should you intend to layover in Glasgow. It's about 10 minutes walking distance from Glasgow Central Station and within 15 minutes from fast food eateries and shopping places. Rooms are clean and basic amenities are provided for. Breakfast is good and incorporates a mix of international and English cuisines.
HOWEVER, I have had a bad experience regarding a certain payment. I booked this hotel via Trip.com and have prepaid for my stay. When I checked in on 17/7, I was told by the receptionist of that day that my card details were needed. I was assured that there would be no deduction performed and that the details were only required should there be incurred damages in my room during the stay. Yet, on the same day evening, I received a notification that 143 pounds had been deducted. I questioned the receptionist of that day and was reassured, and I quote: ”There was this transaction made to confirm that your card is not a dunce and is payable.”
The next day, before checking out, I reconfirmed with the receptionist of that day (18/7) if the money would be refunded to me. After checking on their end, they said that the money will be refunded. This morning (19/7), I have just received another notification that the status of the 143-pounds transaction has changed from pending to approved. I am disappointed and upset regarding this, and I would like to urge future travellers to be wary of this incident.
GGuest UserMy Grandson and I were in Glasgow for the Scotland v Portugal game and really enjoyed our stay , because we booked through the hotel we got a free breakfast. The hotel is an ideal location and staff were friendly and obliging . I would certainly stay here again.
HHighlandTravelGirlFor the first time ever I phoned reception to complain about the noise. There was a function going on downstairs that was so obnoxious. When I called reception the guy who answered just sighed, told me that he'd had several complaints and the music would continue until 12.45...
The corridor was SO noisy. All the doors are set to slam closed. And slam they do....
I was travelling with my 10 year old daughter. We both had a terrible night's sleep.
Staff didn't ask how my stay was or how I'd slept when checking out. As a frequent traveller I think that's the first time this has happened. Probably just as well as I'd have told them....
The room was clean but there was no shampoo in the container in the bathroom. Very basic.
Saving grace was the swimming pool. Especially with a 10 year old. We were allowed to swim in the morning which really cheered her up.
BBee HoonWe stayed during Christmas season and there was a Xmas market next door. The hotel is spacious and all the necessary facilities, including kitchen and washing machine are provided.
GGuest UserDefinitely recommended. The hotel is very clean and tidy, the reception staffs here are professional and friendly, the room and bed are quite cozy. The bathroom contains bathtub. Very nice experience!
JJ G-JI’ve stayed at several Easyhotels across the country and you know what you’re going to get. It looks like this one was refurbished quite recently as it was in good nick.
Paid £36 for a room. Had one without a window and to be honest I’ve got used to not having one. Good quality air con unit, bed was comfy and bathroom clean.
Would definitely stay again, it’s spot on for what I need.
GGuest UserGreat location, staff excellent, clean rooms, free parking (most of the hotels in the centre don’t have parking or you have to pay a fortune) we didn’t eat at the hotel but they do have an area where you can eat your own food and they offer free hot drinks.
Mmocha is in europeInconvenient location and nice staff
The staff are quite friendly and nice.
The location is... a bit hard to say. If you are a nature lover, u probably enjoy the walk in the neighborhood. There're hills and nice houses nearby. Around 5 min walk from the hotel, there's a nice track called Strathblane Railway Path.
But if you want to get to the city centre, and you can't drive, you can only get there by a bus which is 50 min ride (note that it's 1 to 2 hour frequency). I waited for the bus at the buschanan bus station on Saturday at 7pm (it's scheduled at 7:10pm) and the bus went missing. I asked staff at the bus station and they told me to find the help desk but it was closed and the hotline was also shut down. I waited for the next bus at 8:35pm and luckily it did arrive.
So make sure you check the bus schedule if you are going for a tour/taking train in the city centre!!!
