Location and Surroundings: The accommodation is situated in a convenient location, often near universities, local cafes, restaurants, and shops. Some guests highlighted its proximity to the city center, with a short walk or accessible bus routes, while others appreciated its peaceful, hilltop setting in a quiet neighborhood.

Tom and Christine were wonderful hosts! They took such good care of us. We stayed in Glasgow to attend the World Bagpipe Championships for the first time. The house is old and lovely with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The street was quiet despite the close proximity to the city. Our hosts were warm, friendly and generous and went the additional mile for us for our entire stay. We had a variety of foods for breakfast (hot or cold) to suit a variety of tastes/needs. We'll definitely be back!

The property was ok very cluttered in the porch. Room was ok and comfy bed. No toiletries except handwash. I've stayed in many hotels.and bed and breakfast never not had toiletries before. Breakfast was s***e Not cooked to order. Left out on table gathering germs and going cold. Could only eat toast and cereal couldn't stomach the cheap tasting bacon and sausage. Sat the host as we checked in never saw him again. Saw his miserable wife who cooked breakfast well the excuse classed as breakfast. Very ignorant people. No idea why some people have left reviews saying they were made welcome with a drink on arrival. We weren't. Absolute disgrace to hospitality.

Lovely quiet location with friendly hosts. Tom went the extra mile assisting us with luggage. Breakfast was excellent, such a great choice of food & great cooked breakfast. Comfortable, clean beds & a helpful fridge & sink in bedroom. Great value for money. Only recommendation for improvement was there was no highchair available for my son.

Great quiet location. Beautiful home. Fab breakfast. Very clean. And, the icing on the cake were Tom and Christine. Tom the owner could not have been more welcoming and helpful, and so, so, lovely! Christine was great too, cooking breakfast, and cleaning the rooms. Would definitely recommend this Bed and Breakfast ❤️

Mixed feelings about my stay. My room was very large with a massive bed and situated at the rear of the building with an interesting view across the back garden and the roof tops of Glasgow. The hosts were pleasant and Tom offered to take my case up to my room. He was very apologetic about the untidiness in the common areas and explained they had only just started taking in guests again after a break. In all honesty it looked as if the clutter had been there quite a time, old brochures and paperbacks plus several cardboard boxes. There was a small fridge in the room plus facilities for tea or coffee making but only a portable heater however the room did warm up eventually. It was not en-suite but the bathroom was literally next door. I found the bed very uncomfortable but I do have a problem with my joints and rarely sleep well in a strange bed so this would probably not be an issue for someone else. I couldn't get the shower to run warm and checking the water temperature from outside the cabinet, because of the position of the shower head, caused the water to spill out onto the floor when I opened the door to check so I gave up and had a ***** wash in my room. There was no soap in the shower but hand-wash at the sink in the bathroom and also the sink in my room so I used that. Breakfast is included in the price and a reasonable variety of cereals available but no yoghurt and the toast had been prepared earlier and was not warm. The hot food, eggs, bacon, baked beans etc were a generous amount but not served individually to guests on plates but just put on the table in bowls which soon got cold. It's a beautiful old house in a very quiet area of Glasgow but only a short distance to the centre with plenty of on street parking but the interior is very tired looking with worn out carpet and splits in the wallpaper in the corners of the rooms. Again Tom was very apologetic about this and explained that they simply could not afford to do more than basic maintenance after 3 years of having virtually no guests because of Covid and the high commission rates charged by online booking companies. It's a great shame as they are very pleasant hosts and the property has so much potential.

Property was falsely advertised and awful. We walked out and owner refused to give us a refund (actually he went and charged our card after we left). Can't even begin to describe how dirty, derelict, and run-down the place was.

******* booked a single night here which the host complained about at length. We felt weird and guilty for showing up. Dirty tea cups in greeting room and lots of stuff in entryway. We were not feeling comfortable and left without staying. Host did not refund us. Feeling ripped off. Look for a different B&B, the photos posted on the site were far superior to the reality we saw inside.☹️

Old school bed and breakfast. We had a very nice two night stay. We had good sized room with a shared bath. It is not fancy, but reasonably priced accommodations in a good area. The breakfast was a full Scottish breakfast with more than enough food. Lots of breakfast options. Rooms are upstairs with no elevator. Good restaurants in the neighborhood and decent access to several bus lines.
