Large, bright, two bedroom apartment in a traditional sandstone tenement, with terrace, ideally located equidistant between Glasgow's trendy West End and it's vibrant city centre. The apartment is perfect for exploring the whole of Glasgow. Highlights include the West End, Botanic Gardens, Kelvingrove Park and Museum, King’s Theatre, National Piping Centre, SECC, Armadillo, Hydro, Kelvin Way, Transport Museum, Glasgow University, Mitchell Library, and Buchanan Galleries. The Space: The apartment is spacious and bright with large rooms, high ceilings and big windows, and includes all normal amenities and appliances, as well as central heating. The kitchen is well-equipped with utensils, dishes, oven, hob, fridge-freezer, washing machine, kettle and toaster. The bathroom has a shower and a full bath. Both bedrooms have double beds, large built-in wardrobes and offer plenty of space. Guests are welcome to play the best version of Monopoly (Glasgow edition) to familiarise themselves with the city as well as other games. You can swap your finished books for any on the bookcase or those left by other guests! Guest Access: Guests have access to the whole apartment and a shared terrace located on the roof of the ground floor, at the level of the first floor of the building. Interaction with Guests: Dave looks after my apartment as I work overseas The Neighborhood: Located opposite the Woodlands Library amongst traditional sandstone tenements, the apartment is located a mere stone's throw (2 minute walk) from St Georges Cross subway station, providing convenient access to all that Glasgow has to offer. The neighbourhood includes excellent bars and restaurants, including the Bon Accord (for whisky and real ale), Chinaskis (for bourbon and candle lit garden) and Mother India (for curry). For night owls looking for a local “treat” the burger van at Charing Cross does a mean scooby snack. WARNING: not for the faint hearted or those looking to live to 100!!!
