First off I have to say that the staff are excellent, friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, our room had an odour of sick and faeces. There was mould on tiles and ceiling and the paint and plaster were peeling in the bathroom. This was clearly visible and well within cleaning range. I have asthma and am wary of mould spores which can cause serious illness for asthmatics and vulnerable people, this should be a cleanliness focus that any hotel staff are mindful of. We ate in the restaurant at night but the chicken makhani had seen better days, it was inedible, had to ask for it to be taken off the bill as it was cold, had virtually no chicken in it and tasted as if it had been sitting around for a long time. The unlimited breakfast was OK but cooked food was cold and the set up is cramped causing long queues. Only one coffee machine for all the hotel guests again causing long queues. We have been to other Premier Inn hotels in Glasgow and elsewhere, which have faired much better than this one I'm afraid
