Reviews of Haven Marina Motel

Sadly this was less than I expected but it is in the cheapest category and I really only needed a place to sleep. The bedding was beautiful crisp white sheets but that’s where the good things end. The motel is very tired and in desperate need of a refurbishment. Carpet very worn and curtains were dirty. Lots of damaged fittings in the bathroom where once there was a hairdryer. The car park is very tight and usually full. They have wifi but it only works in reception and not the rooms. TV worked for basic channels ( but the aerial kept falling out so I had to wedge it in ) and the fridge was nice and cold. The aircon worked both hot and cold but was a bit noisy although well located so it didn’t blow air directly on the bed. There was an iron and board and good full length mirror. Upstairs units are accessed by an outdoor stairwell. Standard of cleanliness quite poor when I arrived although the room smelled fresh.

Location is fantastic and the service is great. The cleanliness of the hotel was really bad. The bed was too soft. Pillows not good.

The lady at reception was lovely, the room was average, we stayed whilst Construction was happening so was woken up early, our view was the construction site.

We did not stay, we booked in and saw how run down and old the rooms were, the room smelt bad , we think that's why all the room doors were left open so we went for a walk and found somewhere else to stay and booked out of haven marina motel. I am really disappointed that this motel is on your list, it's the worst motel we've ever seen and a total waste of our money

Good service

It was close to the airport and easy to get to. There was a cafe nearby, so I was able to kill time before check-in without having to wander around.

The decor is a bit dated, but overall it's clean and comfortable, and it's convenient for visiting tourist areas.
