Absolutely sublime in every way - There are no words to describe incredible place that has perfected the balance of sensitivity to its setting surroundings, comfort, R&R and impeccable service and incredibly good value.We had an amazing breakfast with everything freshly prepared and choices that met everyones needs.Relaxing on the deck with blankets in the evening and just soaking up the lake and views created memries for us all.Can absolutely recommend anyone to go.... before everyone finds out about it

Great! The Room was small but nevertheless so nice! Food was really good (Dinner & Breakfast) and everybody there so friendly. The location is a great place to relax after a hike or having a rest between two hikes.

We changed our booking at the last minute and ended up in one of the dorm rooms with four beds, two bunks. These rooms are designed for two occupants and was extremely crowded with four of us without enough space to keep our luggage. On the positive, the setting is lovely, the public spaces are well maintained with everything you need. The washing/dryer machines are much appreciated after tramping. The staff are wonderful and helpful. on the negative, the sandflies are nasty, and the code system to get into the rooms is a nightmare.

It was a very lovely stay there. I slept in the dorm and it was the most silent dorm I have been. The shared kitchen is big enough for everyone and I really enjoyed the silence there. It is perfect for a little break in the nature. I spent some minutes in the hot tub in the morning and felt so good.

Tha accommodation was nicely decorated, all clean and modern. We stayed in the lodge building with a shared bathroom and lounge. The room was comfortable but extremely small. I had a lot of difficulty walking around the bed and to fit our two suitcases in the room. The shared kitchen was very well appointed and a good meeting place. There also was a hot tub but that was a bit disappointing, great view though. There are all different sorts of accommodation, from luxury till budget and a campground opposite.for me it was a bit confusing and mixed up. I loved sitting on the veranda but there were very many sandflies and they were very aggressive. The most from all my traveling through New Zealand. I’ve sprayed insect repellent but got still bitten over 30 times and ended up staying indoors. A real shame as the surrounding is so nice and calm.

Stunning location for some rest n relaxation. Or plenty of walking and outdoor activities nearby if that’s your thing. Enjoyed just taking in the vista along with tasty snacks. We stayed in an eco lodge which had all we needed. Definitely need to apply sandfly repellent. A non toxic variety was supplied. A tranquil vibe. It’s about a 75min drive from Queenstown around the lake.

Overpriced for poor accomodation. This is the 10th accomodation during our New Zealand trip we've visited and it is by far the worste. We've had the lakeside room with ensuite bathroom. Due to the lack of isolation and single glazing, the windows were very wet on the inside every morning. Health wise certainly not ideal. The bedlinen was too small to keep me warm at night and there was no closet or shelves to lay our clothes. I didn't measure the bed but it was certainly too small for me (1m89). Luckily the restaurant has a very good chef, but the prices were again too high in my opinion in comparison to other places we've visited (40NZD for a glas of wine, an alcohol free gin drink and a coffee).

I had a lovely stay in one of the Wilderness rooms. The seats out the front were a great place to enjoy the view. My stay would have been more restful if I hadn't been right next to the toilets and walkway to kitchen. I found I had the other guests standing in front of my window and the sounds from the toilet all through the night. The rooms were very clean and bed comfortable, lots of good pillows. The bathrooms and kitchen were also in good repair and well provisioned. The experience would have been better if amenities had been refreshed during evening. By morning there were no clean bathmats, tea towels etc.

We were heading into the Caples/ Greenstone so a perfect place to set ourselves up the night before. The team are welcoming, the rooms comfortable, the kai is yum and the setting beautiful! Have stayed a number of times and never disappointed.
