Reviews of Glentanner Park Centre

Nice place for solo travelers depending on which beds you get. First time here I got a bed that I couldn't even sit on because its too close to the ceiling. The second time it's nice. Cozy and just nice. Toilets are clean and my lodge has a sofa and a kitchen to cook in.

I stayed at Glentanner Holiday Park with my friends while visiting Mount Cook National Park, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even better. The facilities were great – there’s a kitchen where you can cook your own meals, which was super convenient, and our rooms were heated, which we really appreciated as it was quite cold outside. The park also has a partnership with a helicopter tour, which we booked during our stay. It was absolutely amazing and a highlight of our trip! On top of that, the views from the entire park are breathtaking – waking up surrounded by mountains is something we’ll never forget. Overall, I would highly recommend Glentanner Holiday Park to anyone visiting Mount Cook. Comfortable, friendly, and with incredible views – the perfect place to stay.

Good location and beautiful view

What saved it was the lounge which had a nice vibe. The dorms were outdated and the beds shook, it wasnt great. I also had the lights turned off on me in the lounge .

Overall is comfortable to stay. The scence very beautiful and the place very quiet. Kitchen and laudry facility is ok, but the toile and bathroom quit far away.

Great location near the Pukaki Lake, walk by 10-15 minutes. Mountains surrounded. Room service is good. The beds with heater are so good. Shared toilet, kitchen, cafeteria, very nice. Grab the night sky photos, very cool. 20 min driving to Mt. Cook and 30 min to Twizel is not bad. Recommended.

Good location easy walk to the City. Bus to the airport in front of the Hotel.

To provide more clothes hooks if possible.

Great place really near Tasman Glacier about half hour drive. View is great as well!

On our way to Mount Cook, we were supposed to do the Mount Cook Mission Walk. However, the weather was bad that day, snowing, and the access road was closed. We turned back early, planning to check in and rest. Surprisingly, the rest house was right next to the hotel. You could cook your own meals, and there were many people from all over the world busy preparing dinner in the kitchen. The atmosphere was quite pleasant. Facilities: The accommodations were nothing like those in city hotels, even basic, but overall quite acceptable. The experience was great. It's such a spacious area, with not much else nearby. Cleanliness: The beds and other amenities were relatively clean and hygienic. Environment: The surrounding natural environment is truly stunning, right next to the lake, with Mount Cook visible in the distance. If I was lucky, I'd open the door at night and see a sky full of stars and the Milky Way. It was a real surprise. In the morning, as the sun rose, I could see the beautiful snow-capped peaks of Mount Cook in the distance. It was truly amazing. Service: The front desk was also very friendly.

I booked the hotel too late and there was no choice on the day. This was the only hotel I had. I was prepared for the worst. I saw the bad reviews and was worried, but I was actually very satisfied after I went there! The room can accommodate 10 people and has a bathroom. It was very nice, the view was great, and I saw a rainbow and a hedgehog.
