Hampton Inn by Hilton West Wichita Goddard

Overall we had a really good stay. The hotel itself was clean, the staff was friendly, and everything went smoothly during our visit. The only disappointment for us was realizing the waterpark is closed Monday through Wednesday. That was completely my error for not checking more carefully before booking so I don’t blame the hotel for it but it was still a big bummer since that was a major reason we chose this location for our family trip. They do, however, have a heated pool available which was very nice! Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again, especially on days the waterpark is open.

The facility was very nice and clean. Room was a nice size. Parking was easily accessible. Breakfast had good options. This hotel is attached to a water park and a health club and the 2 indoor swimming pools, complete with bleachers, used by the health club the hotel guests also get to use. A very unusual option. The only negative thing I could find is that the coffee they offered to guests did not have any decaf option nor was there any decaf provided in the guest room.

The hotel is very modern as one would expect of a Hampton. However, it is starting to show signs of insufficient maintenance. Chairs in breakfast area are fraying. The juice machine was out order. When we arrived in our room we found there were no wash cloths, no bath mat and no cups for coffee or water. We noticed another thing, the toilet seat was in the upright position. The toilet seemed to be clean but it appeared the maid went on break after cleaning and forgot to come back and finish.

Everything was perfect, everyone is so nice and helpful. I really enjoyed breakfast and the staff taking the time to have a conversation with me, it was nice. The afternoon desk lady was so helpful and friendly, I really appreciate everyone. Thank you

Breakfast was decent. Pretty much the selection that every hotel that includes breakfast has. Breakfast are was nice and clean and timely refilled. Plenty of seating.

I was very disappointed with the condition of my room during my recent stay at Hampton Inn. Cleanliness and maintenance are basic expectations, especially for a brand that promotes consistency and quality. The bathroom door was visibly dirty, which immediately raised concerns about the overall sanitation of the room. In addition, the sink faucet was loose and unstable, making it difficult to use and giving the impression that routine maintenance is being overlooked. These issues are unacceptable for any hotel, but particularly at a Hampton Inn where guests expect a clean, well-maintained environment.

Great property with so much connected to it and nearby. Was there for a sports event at the adjacent sports complex and it was so convenient. Breakfast was nice with so many areas to sit in the large lobby.

Wanted to be okay with this property. The hotel was not clean. There was food all over the floor of the elevator multiple times. The elevators not only had crushed food on the floor but each time we got in there was a different odor, one morning strong vomit smell. The garbage was over flowing in multiple places and the area where we waited for the elevator on the 4th floor wrecked of trashed for the entire fist morning we were there. Due to the water park there was water all over the floor of the lobby area throughout our stay. In a dining areas near the elevators there was an overwhelming smell of mildewy towels. They ran out of coffee multiple mornings and did not stay on top of replacing things And finally our bed was a disaster. The head of the bed was lower at an angle, which for me led to waking with headaches each morning. Pillows were no help as they flattened immediately. Staff was not rude but also not friendly or helpful. They just seemed to be there. Will not be staying again
