Super 8 by Wyndham Golden

Not as described or pictured on this listing unfortunately. Some for the better as they (I assume new owners) have redone the decor in rooms, however there is no breakfast as advertised or hot tub. When asking about the breakfast they simply said they didn’t have it and acted as though it wasn’t their problem.

The room was frozen upon arrival. Mildew on bath tiles. Piles of trash on the side of building. The staff was very helpful but that doesn’t make up for freezing room and uncleanliness of the tub. You should pay your staff more so they feel valued and care about certain parts of their job like putting the sheets on inside right. You would be amazing the pride someone takes in their job when they feel valued.

Dirty, smelly, in poor condition. Breakfast was awful Wi-Fi, unreliable, broken fridge, broken air conditioning, dirty parking lot, dirty exterior poor water pressure absolutely nothing positive about this experience.

The bathroom and room were unclean and in disrepair. The cost of the room was high. The staff were curt and unhelpful. The breakfast was minimal, “grab and go” bags, sone bags had almost nothing in them compared to others. We wouldn’t go back.

The front desk man and woman were super nice. The room was good. But we got the usual breakfast in a bag the night before. It was the cheapest Wyndham room in Golden and I love Wyndham so we had no choice. When we were rushing for the Victoria ferry we realized we forgot our Sonic toy (that I use as a nonallergenic pillow). We phoned and they said they would send it to us in Victoria, but we don't have it yet. :( It has an important trackable which is recorded by many as we travel. Has anyone seen our Sonic? As I write, I have been on hold with Super 8 Golden for one hour exactly. Their phone is open but they forgot me.

To be fair, it was the cheapest around the area. So you get what you pay for I suppose. The carpet was the filthiest. There were trash left behind such as old fruit and water bottle. And there was a cockroach! Their breakfast was repetitive - granola bar, muffin, juice box, and pineapple. And you have to get them the day before. Also, this establishment needs a serious deep cleaning and major update/renovation. Front desk ladies were nice tho.

The hotel not very clean. Breakfast offered was issued at check in in a paper bag containing little more than a muffin in ziplock bag even though the sign for the place boasted a continental breakfast, The electrical outlets in the rooms were mostly faulty and didn't work. Wi-Fi/internet was useless and insecure
