During our stay, we got minus 30 and this motel style accommodation was not suitable for us ( no outlet to plugs in car, and constant blowing up heat noise) otherwise this place would be such a nice place. Staff are very nice and kids had a great time at pool. Kitchen with this rate is a good deal.

Do not stay here. I arrived in Golden in the early morning due to road closures. The door was locked and no one at the desk. Ringing the bell and knocking profusely in the freezing cold brought no response. As I was about to drive away the attendant arrived. Checked into my reserved room which i noted was cheaply furnished and poorly finished. Woke an hour later and was immediately bothered by a strong smell of disinfectant and cigarette smoke. I decided I could not stay in the room. Went to the front desk to ask for a refund. Attendant would not refund as I had not immediately returned after check in to try another room. I asked to speak to the manager but she was not available. I asked to be contacted by the manager to discuss the problem. Three days later and no contact so I called the Travelodge and spoke with the manager who denied that the room was dirty and that I had planted the cigarette butt. This travelodge gives the chain a bad name.

Good service and clean rooms. A minor concern is thst there was no boot tray or mat inside so the floor was always wet.

It was a one night stay here. Very basic. There are somethings that definitely need repaired. Seemed clean enough. Breakfast is very basic. Could use more fruit options. Lots of bananas though. A non-dairy milk option would be nice.

Very disappointed. The room was clean, but older. The bed felt like it was plywood. The pool had broken glass in it from allowing people to go down the waterslide with glass beer bottles. The handle into the pool was wobbly and not fastened well. Would not stay again.
