There are better places to stay, let's start with the room, bed is comfy, pillows comfy, fridge was quiet, only 2 sockets in the room, their was a kettle but no cups or anything else, bathroom is out dated, very smelly from the drains, broken shower, leak under the sink, hair dryer holder broken, plenty of hot water. Location is good, beach outside hotel, plenty of beds, take your own towels, pool is tiny, only a handful of beds later in the day. Plenty of shops, bars,restaurants along the *****, do go down sidewalks as restaurants are nicer and cheaper especially Sampouri De Mare great pasta. The food in this hotel was awful, it was cold, fried eggs were fried to an inch of their life, no toaster, no teaspoons, no cups for tea , plates chipped and cracked, 2 days the food was cold as they forgot to switch on the food warmers, we went out to eat as it's pretty cheap, service was slow, staff don't smile and some are offish. The British are definitely in the minority. Went on a couple off trips which were great, wine tasting tour and Boville reservoir, which was beautiful, all in all we enjoyed our holiday but wouldn't stay at the Albanian star again, would we come back to Albania, yes in about 5 years when they learn how to do Tourism better. Also need to change batteries in smoke detectors as it's a constant beeping in lobby, restaurants, and the last 3 days were overrun with students, so much shouting and noise, hard to relax.
